There were concerns that the Yellow Submarine would suffer this season in the absence of Alexander Sorloth after the Norweigan signed for Atletico Madrid. However, Perez's six goals in seven matches have seen him become the first name on the teamsheet at Villarreal and made Sorloth nothing more than a distant memory.
While Perez is Villarreal's most likely goalscorer on Monday night, Sandro is the man most likely to get on the scoresheet for the away team. The 29-year-old has scored three goals so far this season, already eclipsing his total for last season.
