After an impressive performance against Newcastle United, Leicester City face Tottenham Hotspur, who are looking to maintain their unbeaten run under new manager Antonio Conte. Both teams have a depleted squad due to a COVID-19 outbreak and should be evenly matched on Thursday.

Leicester City were in rampant mood last time out in the Premier League as they claimed a 4-0 victory over Newcastle United. Youri Tielemans netted a brace while Patson Daka and James Maddison were also on target.

That result ended a run of three matches across all competitions without a win for Leicester City. The Foxes are currently eighth on the table, six points behind fourth placed West Ham.

Brendan Rodgers’ men have suffered just one defeat in their last five home matches and are on a three-match winning run at the King Power Stadium.

Tottenham Hotspur have not played for the last two weeks due to an extensive COVID outbreak within their squad. Last Thursday’s Europa Conference League fixture against Rennes was also postponed. Their last taste of action was a 3-0 victory over Norwich City in the EPL.

Spurs are unbeaten in the Premier League since Antonio Conte was appointed manager and have won their last three matches. That run has rekindled their top four hopes as they now sit just three points off the Champions League places with two matches in hand.

Tottenham have suffered just one defeat in their last three away matches across all competitions. Their last Premier League fixture on the road was a 0-0 draw at Everton.

How the bookies view it

The bookies have installed Leicester City as favourites with a home win priced at 22/19 by SBK. A victory for Tottenham Hotspur is priced at 5/2 with Ladbrokes while bet365 is offering odds of 14/5 for a draw.

Recent head to head

The last four matches between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur have been evenly split at two wins apiece. Both teams won the away fixture last season with Leicester claiming a 2-0 victory in London while Spurs triumphed 4-2 at the King Power Stadium.

Players to watch

Leicester City top scorer Jamie Vardy sat out the win over Newcastle United but is expected to return to the team on Thursday. The striker has three goals in his last two matches against Spurs and is priced at 33/25 by Sporting Index to get on the score sheet.

Son Heung-Min is reportedly one of the positive COVID-19 tests at Tottenham Hotspur so much of their attacking play will be dependent on Harry Kane. The England striker has looked off colour this season but has four goals in his last four matches against Leicester and could be tipped to score anytime at 37/25 with Sporting Index.

Anything else catch the eye?

Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur were on target in their last meeting and both teams could be backed to score on Thursday at 13/18 with SBK. That fixture produced over 3.5 goals which is priced at 21/10 by BetVictor.

Both teams were level at the break in their last meeting at the King Power Stadium and could be set for a halftime draw at 13/10 with bet365.
