LEICESTER CITY will be looking to haul themselves off the foot of the Premier League table when they lock horns with Leeds United at the King Power Stadium on Thursday night.
Following Saturday's drab 0-0 draw at home to Crystal Palace, the Foxes find themselves rock-bottom and four points adrift of safety after 10 rounds of fixtures.
That aforementioned stalemate also means that the King Power club have posted their worst points return after 10 league games since 1983-84.
Although under-fire boss Brendan Rodgers is emphatic about his desire to stick it out, he may have to secure a second league win of the season against Leeds on Thursday night if he is to avoid the axe.
As for Jesse Marsch's men, they made an encouraging start to the season by banking seven points from a possible nine, claiming the scalp of Chelsea in a 3-0 cruise to victory in the process.
However, the Whites have failed to win any of their subsequent six league fixtures, the most recent of which was a spirited 1-0 loss at home to Arsenal on Sunday.

That goal-heavy sample can be attributed to the fact the pair have combined to post just four clean sheets between them in 19 attempts this term, as well as the fact that collectively both teams have only failed to score on five occasions.
As such, I'm happy to side with over three match goals at the King Power, and with a closely-fought contest anticipated, I'll also throw a minimum of three match cards into the mix.
Brendan Rodgers' hosts have averaged 1.50 bookings per-game this season, while Leeds – who were the most ill-disciplined team in the top-flight last term – are averaging a chunky 2.75 per bookings per 90-minutes when operating away from their West Yorkshire base.
It's also worth pointing out that referee Peter Bankes, who will oversee proceedings on Thursday night, has flashed 3+ cards in six of his last seven top-flight assignments.
