Everton vs Manchester United

, KO: 12:30 Nov 7, 2020, Goodison Park
Manchester United

EVERTON will be looking to halt a two-game losing streak when they lock horns with Manchester United at Goodison Park on Saturday lunchtime.

The Toffees flew out the traps with four wins from four but the Blues bubble has since burst following back-to-back defeats at Southampton at Newcastle.

Indeed, Carlo Ancelotti's influence has generated a monumental mood swing on the blue half of Merseyside, however, the Italian will be hoping his side can rediscover their mojo when the Red Devils come town to town this weekend.

Inconsistency is plaguing Manchester United at the moment – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are languishing in 15th place in the Premier League after Arsenal recorded a rare away win in Manchester last Sunday.

The Red Devils suffered a further setback in midweek when being humbled in Turkey by Champions League newcomers Istanbul Basaksehir.

That pitiful performance has cranked up the pressure on Solskjaer who is now dangling dangerously at 8/13 (Bet 365) in the division's dreaded sack race.

Outright Betting

Everton have lost just one of their last 15 Premier League home matches and a Toffees triumph on Saturday is trading at 19/10 with Bet 365, while the draw is priced up at 5/2 with the same firm.

Manchester United have won nine of their last 10 away matches and a Red Devils road success on Saturday can be backed at 29/20 with BetVictor.

Betting Angles

I spoke about the fact that Everton games have been goal-heavy this season on this week's edition of the Gambla Bet Builder Podcast and I fancy that trend to continue at Goodison Park on Saturday.

The 5/6 combination that I like the look of for this Saturday lunchtime showdown is over one match goal, over five match corners and each team to receive over zero cards.

The Blues have made the bulge at least twice in each of their three league games on home turf this term and each of the last seven top-flight tussles at this venue have seen both sides get on the scoreboard.

Carlo Ancelotti's charges are without a clean sheet in eight matches across all competitions and that does not bode well ahead of a bout with a wounded Manchester United side who have done most of their good work on the road in recent months.

The Red Devils have triumphed in each of their last six Premier League road trips and they have notched up two or more strikes in all six of those successes.

What's more, the above-mentioned Bet Builder banked in both meetings last season and that only adds to the appeal of siding with a repeat on Saturday.

I'm also going to have a play on another Bet 365 Bet Builder at 20/23 by combining both teams to score and Everton to collect over zero cards – a combination that clicked for me during last month's Merseyside derby.

Both teams have obliged in all of Everton's home games this season and both sides have registered in each of the Red Devils last five road trips, and I like the look of both teams hitting the back of the net this weekend.
