THE standout fixture from the Premier League this midweek comes from Stamford Bridge where Chelsea meet Man City.
Frank Lampard's young side made a winning start to their final stretch of fixtures when coming from behind to win 2-1 away at Aston Villa last Sunday.
Consequently, the Blues tightened their grip on the final Champions League berth by moving five points clear of the chasing pack.
However, standing in Chelsea's way on Thursday night is a Man City side who have looked red-hot since the resumption.
The Citizens made light work of Arsenal last midweek before dishing out a 5-0 mauling to Burnley on Monday night.
Indeed, City have all but surrendered their Premier League crown, however, the Sky Blues look determined to take all of the remaining trophies that are available to them.
