Wilfried Nancy's Celtic debut didn't go to plan at the weekend and he now faces a daunting second game at the helm as Roma come calling in the UEFA Europa League.
The Frenchman was plunged into a top-of-the-table clash with Hearts just three days after being appointed and crashed to a 2-1 defeat at Celtic Park in a game where two bets landed for me.
Instead of sticking with the tactics that had served the Hoops well under interim manager Martin O'Neill, the new boss implemented his favoured 3-4-3 system but that bold move backfired.
Celtic actually played well in the first half but after falling behind they never looked like getting back into the game and only scored their consolation goal deep into injury time.
The Hoops now face a Roma side who have already beaten city rivals Rangers in the Europa League this season, with two bets landing for Greg in their 2-0 victory.
Gian Piero Gasperini's side have suffered back-to-back domestic defeats but they're still having a good season and sit just four points off the Serie A summit.
They've amassed nine points so far in the Europa League, two more than Celtic, so Gasperini will be targeting a win that would pretty much secure their place in the knockout stages.
How the bookies view it: Roma appeal at 6/5
With Celtic still get using to Nancy's methods, Roma look excellent value at 6/5 with Bet365 for a win. The Hoops are 23/10 with the same firm while the draw pays 5/2 at Ladbrokes.
When a price looks too good to ignore, that’s value. Learn how to identify it with our Value Betting guide.
Head to head: New Roman rival
This is the first time these sides have faced off but Celtic have been familiar foes of Roma's rivals Lazio in recent seasons. They've faced off four times in the last six years and it has been honours even, with two wins apiece.
Players to watch: Maeda the main man
Daizen Maeda let me down after I backed him to score on Sunday, missing two excellent early chances. He still looks Celtic's most dangerous forward by a mile though and is a little overpriced at 13/5 with Paddy Power for a goal.
Paulo Dybala has come off the bench in the last two games for Roma and could be unleashed from the start here. The Argentinian is 9/4 at SkyBet to score his first goal since returning from a three-week injury absence.
Probable line-ups
It will be interesting to see if Nancy sticks with his three-man defence or reverts to a back four. He's still short on bodies in defence, with Cameron Carter-Vickers, Alistair Johnston and Marcelo Saracchi sidelined.
Roma full-back Wesley is available again but this game could come too early for striker Artem Dovbyk.
Celtic: Schmeichel, Trusty, Scales, Tierney, McGregor, Engels, Hatate, Nygren, McCowan, Yang, Maeda.
Roma: Svilar, Ndicka, Mancini, Hermoso, Ghilardi, El Aynaoui, Kone, Celik, Pellegrini, Soule, Dybala.
Anything else catch the eye?
Both managers are renowned for playing attack football so this should be a decent watch with chances at both ends.
The big problem for Nancy is that Celtic's powderpuff forward line has been lacking punch all season, with the Hoops looking good on Sunday until it came to the final pass or finish.
That makes me think betting against BTTS might pay off here at 11/10 with Betfred, especially with Roma rarely looking troubled in that 2-0 win over Rangers.
Lorenzo Pellegrini was excellent in that match and got his reward with a goal, so the midfielder looks good at 23/20 with BetMGM for a shot on target here. He's also a tempting 11/8 with Bet365 to either score or assist.
As the deepest Celtic midfielder, Callum McGregor often picks up cards for tactical fouls when opponents hit on the counter attack. He has four yellows from his last eight appearances and is 13/5 at Bet365 to go into the book again.
