ARSENAL face a London derby on Saturday night against a Brentford side who can be dangerous on their day.
The Gunners went apoplectic after a 1-0 defeat at Newcastle United with manager Mikel Arteta launching an astonishing rant about referees and VAR.
But after he'd calmed down, Arsenal have restored normality with a couple of comfortable enough wins in the Champions League over Sevilla and then against struggling Burnley at home in the league.
They are in third place, level with Liverpool and a point behind champions Manchester City.
Brentford continue to go their merry way along in the top flight defying critics as they go. They bounced back from a run of eight games without a win in all competitions to record three victories on the bounce in the league.
They beat Burnley and West Ham at home and, most impressively of all, eased to a win at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea before losing in the last match before the international break at Liverpool, which was no disgrace.
One curiousity is that Arsenal will start with keeper Aaron Ramsdale because David Raya is on loan from Brentford.
How the bookies view it

Recent head to heads
That League Cup meeting this season saw Arsenal win 1-0 at Brentford's home. Since the Bees returned to the top flight, Arsenal have lost and drawn there in the league.
Players to watch
Bryan Mbeumo scored for Cameroon in the international break in a World Cup qualifier against Mauritius and now has seven goals for the season for club and country. He is 11/4 to score anytime with bet365.
Kai Havertz also scored for his country in the last international break against Turkey, but the German star has only managed one goal for Arsenal so far. He is 3/1 to score anytime with UniBet.
Anything else catch the eye?
Arsenal are just about well priced enough to be able to back them at 3/4, which is as short as you would want to go.
If the Gunners seriously want to mount a proper title challenge, then these are the games they cannot afford to slip up. With the talent at Arteta's disposal, they should have enough to get the win.
Arsenal tend to keep it tight away from home at both ends. They have played five games away from the Emirates and only scored eight and conceded three.
