BOOKIES are taking no chances at all with the England v San Marino Euro 2016 qualifier on Thursday.

I've studied the markets and the prices and there's little value to be found unless you believe England will struggle to score more than a handful.

San Marino are the worst side in the world – even poorer than Craig Levein's Scotland – and they're yet to win a competitive match and have lost their last 28 away matches, conceding an average of six goals.

In four meetings between the sides the aggregate scores are England 26, San Marino 1. History suggests Roy Hodgson's men will win 6-0 or 7-0 when they meet at Wembley and not surprisingly bookies have set the goals line at 6.5.

Funnily enough the single goal San Marino managed is the one everyone remembers – a seven-second strike that opened the scoring in 1993 before Graham Taylor's men recovered to win 7-1.

England are unbackable at 1-100 to follow their opening success over Switzerland with another three points so anyone betting on the game has to find a first scorer or predict the margin of victory.

To net the opener I'm on Danny Welbeck after his double against the Swiss and Champions League hat-trick for Arsenal recently. He is 31-10 at BetVictor. For an anytime scorer consider Gary Cahill at 9-4 with Coral as England will have plenty of chances from setpieces.

Skipper Wayne Rooney should also be on target as he bids to add to his 41 goals from 97 caps but is just to 1-3 at 888sport to net.

A 6-0 win pays 7-1 at William Hill while 7-0 is 8-1 with McBookie and you could even go to 8-0 at 10-1 with McBookie.

As I said the goals line is set at 6.5 with England minus six 13-10 at bet365 and San Marino 23-20 at Betfred plus six. if you do this bet and there's a slow start get ready to cover.

Elsewhere in Group E the Swiss need to get back on track away to Slovenia and should do so. They are a best 7-5 at bet365 and Paddy Power.

Spain returned to winning ways after their World Cup nightmare by mauling Macedonia but face a tough test away to a Slovakia side who opened by beating Ukraine away.
Spain are 2-5 (various) and should edge it but best bet could be under 2.5 goals as Slovakia's last four have gone that way and they even drew 0-0 with Gibraltar. Under 2.5 goals is 5-6 at boylesports.

Slovenia lost their opener 1-0 in Estonia and have been defeated to nil in their last four games. In fact their only strike in six games was against Canada. Back the Swiss and consider them to win to nil at 13-5 with Paddy Power and McBookie.

      What do you reckon about this below ?

      Montenegro -1 = 4/6
      England -4 = 1/3
      Span -1 = 1.675
      Switzerland = 13/10

      Accumulator = 7.56/1 ????

    William Hill headline offers:
    Sterling to score 2 or more and Win 6/1
    Rooney hat-trick and win 7/1

    Sterling bet looks easy

    BTTS England 9/2…hmmmmmmm

      RoasterBets, no chance England will concede in my opinion.

    I will not be backing this myself but if anybody is looking at the 9/2 btts in England match tomorrow, then dont take btts because on Bet365 it is 6/1 for England to not keep a clean sheet. Therefore, you might aswell back that instead.

    I just cannot bring myself to back a team to win -6. Let alone England! Scorers could be the bet.
    For anyone considering Welbeck or Rooney for first goal and who thinks England will score 6 or more goals, you can get 7/1 and 6/1 respectively for them to be first scorer and England to score at least 6 (via the score cast market, any unquoted.) on betfair.

    I’m with Mojo on the 15 minutes as I only bet with WillHill. As poor as San Marino are, I can’t see England scoring 7 goals tomorrow. They have a great record against San Marino but I think -6.5 @ 10/11 is a bit too safe from the bookies. Think I’ll be on Welbeck 2 or more @ 8/11 if he starts.

    What do we think about over 2.5 goals and under 12 corners@ 11/10 in the England game?
    San Marino unlikely to get one corner all game and will England get more than 11??
