THE only online bookmaker listing first-scorer prices on all SPFL games are McBookie.com.
It’s a great service they provide and we’ve teamed up with the Scots firm to look at some of the best bets from the Scottish lower leagues. Also, leave your pick of first scorers at the end of this article for a chance to win a £10 free bet with McBookie.com. Last week's winner was Bingo.
You can choose from Premiership, Championship, League One and League Two and one correct entry will be picked at random to win the prize. Quote player, team, his odds and a reason if you like.
Meanwhile, here is McBookie.com’s Damian Walker with his Saturday selections.
Young Arbroath winger Alan Cook had a tough time of it last season at Airdrie where an ankle ligament injury reduced him to just nine starts. His move to the Red Lichties and improved fitness has paid dividends already this season and Cook has netted six times in his last seven starts. Arbroath travel to Stair Park at the weekend and Cook is 11-2 with McBookie to grab the opening goal.
Cowdenbeath took a 5-1 pasting away to Livingston last weekend and as a result were leapfrogged by Livingston in the Championship table.
Now the Blue Brazil must entertain Dundee on Saturday, who finally got their goalscoring act together with a 3-1 win over Morton. Dundee’s Peter MacDonald is a prolific goalscorer and hit a double last weekend. He is 10-3 to do the same against Cowdenbeath with McBookie.
Dunfermline midfielder Andy Geggan has scored eight goals in 35 starts since joining the Pars last summer but five have come in just nine games this season.
Geggan is in the richest goalscoring run of his career and his Dunfermline side are averaging nearly three a game.
The Pars travel to face bottom-placed Forfar on Saturday and the wincast for Geggan to score at any time and Dunfermline to win pays 4-1 with McBookie.
Rangers defender Bilel Mohsni has scored three times in four starts since joining the Ibrox side on a two-year deal at the end of July.
With Rangers running eight past Stenny last weekend and looking to set a goal-scoring record in the league this season, Mohsni will get plenty of set-piece chances to add to the tally.
He is 10-1 with McBookie to score the first goal away to Ayr on Sunday but 13-5 to score at any time. Given his current scoring record that makes more appeal than the first scorer odds.
Remember, McBookie.com are the only online bookmaker that allows you to bet on scorer markets in the Championship, League One and League Two. Can you find a winner this weekend?
