THERE was some cracking action from the weekend live matches with Chelsea v Arsenal the pick of the bunch.

Matches between some of the big guns – Blues 3, Arsenal 5; Man Utd 8, Arsenal 2 and Man Utd 1, Man City 6 – have been real goalfests.

These are the games fans want to see and I should know after being treated to 11 at the Clydebank match on Saturday.

It's the most number of goals I've seen at any game and it was wonderful to watch.

Unfortunately Monday night's Premier League clash between Stoke and Newcastle is likely to be more about defence than attack.

The Monday matches last season produced a run of 0-0s and there is a real fear of that scoreline here.

Stoke and Newcastle have both started the season well. In fact, Stoke's home record is almost identical to Newcastle's on the road.

A 1-1 pays 11-2 (various) while no to both teams to score is 20-21 at Chandler.

It definitely has the look of an unders game and and under 2.5 goals pays a best 4-5 with Chandler.
