Waghorn_Rangers

RANGERS striker Martyn Waghorn set a 20-goal target pre-season and McBookie are offering 4-1 he reaches that – through penalties alone.

Waghorn has already potted seven from seven attempts in just 12 games. And with the Ibrox club averaging nearly four goals a gam, there is going to be plenty of action in the opposition box.

McBookie are offering just evens that Rangers will be awarded 18 penalties or more – breaking the British record of 17 set by Celtic in 2010-11 season.

Spokesman Paul Petrie said: “When Waghorn set himself the 20-goal target I bet he didn’t think so many penalties would be on the agenda. Rangers are creating so many chances it follows they will be awarded more. The key issue will be whether he can keep his 100 per cent record.”

Next Dundee Utd Manager – 2-1 Mixu Paatelainen 3-1 Tommy Wright 4-1 Paul Lambert, John Hughes 8-1, S McCall, 14-1 Steven Pressley and 14-1 Ray McKinnon.

Next Motherwell Manager – 5-2 Stephen Craigan, Terry Butcher, 3-1 Steven Pressley 12-1 James Fowler, Danny Lennon, Simo Valakari.
