LAST Sunday saw goals galore in Italy – and at Hamburg – helped land me a btts/over 2.5 goals fourfold and I'm kicking off today's offering back in Serie A.
First pick is over 2.5 goals at Juventus v Genoa. Past meetings suggest both teams will score but Genoa have netted just four in four away games this season so that's a worry.
They have netted on their last five away to Juve – a total of eight goals – without winning any of them. So I expect them to score and lose but rather than both to net I'm on over 2.5 goals
My other 2.5 goals tip is St Etienne v PSG. This could be a goalfest between two attacking sides – and of course the visitors have a brilliant partnership developing between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani.
PSG hit five at Anderlecht in midweek – and it could have been more – and have netted 16 in five games. St Etienne's five home games have totalled 16 goals and their last six in general have seen both score and been over 2.5 goals.
My first both to score tip is at Villarreal v Valencia. Villarreal usually score at home and have done so in their last six derby meetings with their close rivals.
This season they've netted nine in three games and face a Valencia side who have turned around their fortunes after a poor start with just one defeat in six and a 5-1 thumping of St Gallen in the Europa League in midweek.
Complete the line with St Johnstone v Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership. Well have won three out of five meetings at McDiarmid Park and are running into a bit of form with only Celtic beating them in their last six.
Saints went down 4-3 at St Mirren last week but won 4-0 against Inverness with a super show in their last home game. With Scotland Under-21 striker Stevie May looking a star of the future they promise goals these days and both should hit the target.

8pm French kick off….getting a bit like old times around here again :-)
John, hopefully that’s well forgotten. And guys remember to put your clocks back. Sitting here realising it’s really only midnight and not 1am.
Mr F, if we keep a clean sheet I’ll Eat my hat, haha! Both our Central defenders are missing ( wright suspended, Anderson injured) that’s a big blow! I’m almost tempted to do Motherwell over 1.5 team goals! McLean is also missing which is a massive loss, his partnership with May has been brilliant! Your both teams to score looks a good shout!
Greg, how did your hat taste after that clean sheet? :-)
