THERE are no Blue Square Premier games this midweek which is disappointing so I'm going to focus my selections on League One and League Two.
Let's start at the game between Rochdale and Chesterfield. Both defences have struggled to keep clean sheets in recent weeks while their attack has been all right.
Rochdale's last five have featured 15 goals with both sides scoring and Chesterfield's last six have witnessed 22 goals with both scoring five out of six. This one pays 4-7 at Paddy Power and Chandler.
Another one I like is Swindon v Gillingham. Under Paolo di Canio the Robins have an attacking philosophy while visitors Rotherham have netted five goals on their last two away trips.
Swindon should win this after back-to-back successes against Plymouth and Accrington but look sure to concede. Their last home game was a 3-3 draw with Hereford while Gillingham netted five on their last away trip to Torquay. This one pays 8-13 with bet365.
Staying in League Two and I'm on Morecambe v Rotherham. Morecambe are going really well and have scored in their last seven but conceded in six of them.
The only clean sheet was at Port Vale at the weekend and they could find it tougher keeping out Rotherham who battled to score draw at Shrewsbury at the weekend and lost 5-2 at Bristol Rovers on their last away trip. This pays 3-5 at unibet.
I'm going to take a chance with Crawley v Dagenham which pays a decent 10-11 at Stan James. Crawley are no bigger than 4-9 to win the game and should do so in style.
They have netted 14 in their last five but conceded two at Wimbledon at the weekend. While Dagenham are unlikely to take anything from the clash they'll believe they can score after hitting eight in their last five league games.
Finally, complete the line with Cardiff v Burnley in the Carling Cup. It's a tough game to call but all season the Welsh side have been friends of this market.
I took them again last weekend and they beat Barnsley 5-3 and their last four matches have totalled 22 goals. Burnley will fancy their chances against such weak defending after getting back to winning ways by beating Coventry 2-1 at the Ricoh Arena at the weekend. This pays
4-6 at Ladbrokes and Stan James.
