WE'RE back with more first-scorer tips from McBookie.com – the only online firm who list first-scorer and anytime scorer prices for all Scottish league games.
It’s a great service they provide and we’ve teamed up with the Scots firm to look at some of the best bets from the lower leagues. Also leave your pick of first scorers at the end of this article for a chance to win a £10 free bet with McBookie.com.
You can choose from Premiership, Championship, League One and League Two and one correct entry will be picked at random to win the prize. Quote player, team, his odds and a reason if you like.
Meanwhile, here is McBookie.com’s Damian Walker with his Saturday selections.
Damian writes: Goals have been few and far between for Cowdenbeath this season and when they do get them it is usually Kane Hemmings’s name that goes on the scoresheet.
Hemmings has scored seven times in 12 starts this season – an excellent haul given the Blue Brazil’s shortcomings.
Cowdenbeath host fellow Championship strugglers Morton on Saturday and they've yet to win on their travels and shipped 11 league goals in the process.
This looks a great opportunity for Hemmings to add his tally and he is 5-1 with McBookie to score the opener.
East Fife hit rock bottom last Saturday night, literally. The Fifers sank to the depths of League One after a crushing 4-1 home defeat to Ayr.
A pre-season that had promised so much with big-name signings is turning into a nightmare for boss Willie Aitchison.
Now is not a great time for them to travel to face McBookie’s favourites in the League One betting without Rangers, Dunfermline.
The Pars have made a terrific start to the season – a 4-0 doing at Forfar apart – and midfielder Andy Geggan has netted five times in his last six league starts. Geggan is 13-2 with McBookie to open the scoring against East Fife.
Despite Rangers bagging a whopping 34 goals in eight league games, Ayr’s Michael Moffat is division’s top scorer with eight goals.
The arrival of Kevin Kyle from Rangers has forced Moffat’s strike partner Craig Malcolm to be demoted to the bench but it hasn’t affected Moffat’s scoring.
Ayr host Arbroath this weekend and Moffat is 20-23 with McBookie to score at anytime.
