PUNTERS up and down the country will be delighted to see the return of domestic football this weekend.

And our Scottish Football League man Joe Wallace has been doing his homework in the hope of making it a winning one.

We kick off this week's SFL treble with Falkirk's home clash against Queen of the South.

The Bairns have steadily been building their title bid by winning four of their last five matches. And before the international break they signed off in excellent style by running out convincing 3-0 winners away to Annan in the Challenge Cup.

Steven Pressley's men will be raring to go again and will fancy their chances against Gus MacPherson's side who are without a win in their last three run- outs. I can't see anything other than a home win and am taking Pressley's boys to take all three points at 8-11 with Skybet, Stan James and Blue Square.

We stay in the Irn-Bru First Division and focus on Livingston’s trip to face Ayr at Somerset Park. Despite failing to fire on all cylinders in recent weeks Gary Bollan’s Livi side are unbeaten in their last six league matches and are boosted by the signings of experienced duo Maurice Ross and Mark Fotheringham.

They are only three points off the top of the table but the First Division is so tight this season that they are only three points ahead of the Honest Men who are in bottom spot.

Ayr have been leaking goals badly and have more defensive worries so for that reason I am going for an away win at 13-10 with Coral.

We finish up in the Third Division and take a look at Clyde’s home clash with East Stirling. Although Clyde have failed to hit top form in recent weeks they go in against a Shire side who are rock bottom of the table and have lost their last seven matches.

Clyde ran out 2-0 winners at home the last time the sides met and I can’t see anything less than another win for the Bully Wee (4-7, bet365, Hills and Coral).
