I HAD a nice 7-1 winner on Wednesday night and I'd love to take that form into Saturday's treble after a disappointing run.

It's three homes for me this weekend and I'm starting with two sides in the Championship whose only defeats recently have been at Cardiff who have a 100 per cent home record.

First up it's Middlesbrough who face a Bristol City side joint bottom of the table despite ending a run of six defeats with a draw at home to Blackpool last week.

Boro have dropped points at Cardiff and Forest recently but at home they've been rock solid with only defeat and this looks a tough taskfor Derek McInnes's struggling visitors.

Hull have won four of their last five with the only blip a narrow loss at Cardiff. They have generally impressed under Steve Bruce this season and like Boro have won six out of eight at home. Burnley have lost three out of five, including one at Ipswich. and will do need to raise their game to have any chance.

Complete the treble with an MK Dons side who have proved their fighting spirit with last-minute goals in their last two matches against Tranmere (1-0) and Shrewsbury (2-2). Now they entertain Colchester at home and should take care of an outfit with just one victory in their last six.

Remember to post your own treble for a chance to win a £10 bet with Betway.

Malky, good luck with that. Just seen your team’s game at Elgin has been postponed because too many tickets were sold. Couldn’t make it up eh. And if anyone has put Elgin or Rangers in a treble or Super Single you can change them.

My tbl this weekend is port vale walsall Blackburn (want to do palace but their price keeps dropping and I’m backing them so often that they are bound to let me down some time) returns just better than 7s

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Darren, I’m all over Palace too. They were 6-4 when I quoted them as my Super Single in the Record which will be in tomorrow’s paper but no surprise the price is dropping.

    • Darren G 12 years ago

Yea, might still do palace on another line, tho don’t often do 2 lines.

Mr F – Any thoughts on Queens Park at home to Stirling Albion tonight? Too short at 1.5?

Was thinking of trying to boost the coffers for the weekend’s betting but QP haven’t won in 4, plus Stirling beat the mighty Rangers just a few weeks ago.

    Surely too strong at home.

    • Mr Fixit 12 years ago

Gaz, sorry been out for a few hours. If pushed I’d have gone for Queen’s but as you said a bit short. I didn’t have time today to look at any Friday games but noticed loads of goals in the Dutch lower league games.
