SINCE bookies started the both teams to score markets and coupons has a bet been so popular.

I'm talking about the score and win market. Prices range roughly from 2-1 to about 10-1 and it's those odds that have attracted punters.

People are talking about the market everywhere I go and it's a popular topic of conversation on the site.

For me the odds reflect the difficulty of the gamble and bookies aren't giving anything away. The prices are the true prices for three eventualities – that is the result, a team to score at least two if they win and the opposition to net at least one.

In reality each single is a treble so if you do a fivefold for example there are 243 possible outcomes.

That's why I'm not a big fan of the bet but I don't see a problem trying it for a small stake. My Unlucky Line of the Week winner in today's Daily Record did a £2 sixfold last weekend and was beaten for £6600 by one team.

And it was shortest pick too with Atletico Madrid going down 1-0 at home to Real Betis. If they'd won 2-1 for example he'll have collected a bumper payout.

That effort has inspired me to have a go today. This is my line and not really a tip. The odds tell you how much chance it has of trapping.

Score and Win

Bournemouth v Bolton home 7-2

Wigan v Huddersfield away 8-1

MK Dons v Walsall away 6-1

Wolves v Stevenage 5-2

Burton v Morecambe 10-3

I came home after doing my Score and win bet to find you had also plumped for Walsall and Wolves- my third selection is a draw at 3/1 in the West Ham Villa match.

Just reading this you could do 5 teams and do them to win either to nil and btts/win. £1 lines would be £32 but I’m on this longshot 5fold

    Palace
    Villa
    Sunderland
    Levante
Rotherham £1 returns nearly 8k back on betfred

It’s worth checking out the odds on a team to win and over 2.5 match goals it’s a similer bet with similer odds only you have the advantage if it finishes 3-0 or more.. the btts one to win bet needs to have over 2.5 goals anyway so why not cover a big score to nil?..

Mrbrokeit, been looking at the market. If Betfred do it we might do that instead of the double delight contest.

Mr broke it does bet365 offer any combo of btts and win or over 2.5 gls and win or can it only be done as singles?

  7. Mrbrokeit 10 years ago

Sorry K just read your post this morning.. Yes you can do combo bets on over 2.5 and team to win.. Bet365 don’t have a market for btts and match result or at least they didn’t, i contacted them a few weeks ago about this and was directed to the over 2.5 goals and team to win market, they also said if the btts match result bet becomes popular they may include it in future markets..
