These are the things you need to look out for, cut the margins down and lower your risks, the only risk i had is if it ended in a draw. Darts final there is no risk at all, one will win and i will make a profit.

Milesey, I do various bets from singles upwards. I’ve said before the btts bets are a bit of fun and have become so popular because they give punters a run for their money, especially those who watch Jeff stelling etc. One thing you have to remember is that through my Daily Record column I’m catering for the average punter in the street, not professionals. I’d expect a pro to pick his own selections. Also when I put up four or five teams no one is saying you have to do them all.

I got on over 11.5 sets today @ 5/4 – looking no bad. Been keeping an eye on oddschecker, earlier in match both u cuda got 11/10 on both (different bookies obviously) worth keeping an eye on if youve got a few quid to throw at it.
Paul I’m going to start doing your draws and perming them. 5 bets @ £10. I’m assuming 3 draws would return around £350 so all you need is one in every 6 really to show profit and if you get 4 then its happy days really. Going by your past selections I know you say you hope to get 1-3 4folds up over the year but how often on average do you get 3 out of 4 draws? If I stuck £50 on every Saturday would you expect a decent profit over the year?
Chris, I can give you guarantees on the draws and you know how I feel about them. I’m betting them for £1 unit stakes and wouldn’t risk much more. We can’t predict the future but I’d hope to get regular threefolds up.

Milesey you are completely missing the point. This is a football betting and tipping page. I don’t have a problem with you tipping horses or darts , all I asked was for there to be a seperate section for this which I can only see as being a plus. Think about it, people who want to know racing and darts tips would be able to find them quicker and those who want to read purely football comments can. I made this suggestion and you flew off the handle. If people are winning money from tips you put up them that’s great, keep up the good work but I stand by the fact there should be a seperate place to post these.

I’m not interested in taking sides in this argument, as quite clearly, it’s gone on far too long already. But one thing I would like to say is, Paul, can you please ask milesey to prove his stakes on a few of his bets. Just to put this to bed once and for all, just like was done when people we doubting Chris. Also, fair play, your tips look to be going well milesey. But, 5 comments in a row, the length of a Bible, slating other people’s formulas, and praising your own, only gets some people’s backs up. Stick to the tipping, you’re doing well. Just drop the slander of others and their ways of doing things…This year can only get better on this site. About time all stuck together to regularly get one over on the bookies
Luke, that’s well said. To be honest I’d prefer if people didn’t include their stakes when tipping because at the end of the day it’s the tip that counts to everyone else. But you’re right people are in this together to beat bookies and shouldn’t be arguing non-stop.
I agree stakes are completely irrelevant. I wouldn’t usually be interested in other people’s stakes. It’s just the fact that milesey blows his own trumpet a bit much that’s all. But as I said previously, fair playing his tips are very good at times. Anyways, today is a new day. And let’s all be as one and take those bookies for a ride.
