IT'S the last day of the month and that means transfer deadline day – so a busy night of action on and off the pitch.
The irrepressible Jim White's preparing for marathon session and it must be strange for managers who have to prepare for games and keep tabs on the latest moves.
There are seven Premier League matches tonight including Spurs v Man United which should be a cracker and Man City v West Brom which could be a goalfest going by what happened at Anfield on Sunday.
I've posted a separate Scottish preview focusing on Rangers' trip to Fraserburgh in the Scottish Highlands and despite the cold and a poor pitch this should be a comfortable win for Graeme Murty's men.
Last night's 13-5 Top Treble win means I'll finish the month in profit on the advised accas and the Super Single win on Aston Villa draw no bet leaves me level.
The January figures aren't spectacular but I'm quite happy because it's always a difficult month with cup ties, winter breaks and weather problems – as well as transfer dealings,
The Super Single is Rangers -3 and I fully expect them to win by at least four or five against non-league opponents.
Aberdeen should win at basement boys Ross County to kick off the Top Treble – they've beaten the Dingwall men 2-1 twice this season so the Dons and btts is s possibility.
Add Burnley not to lose at Newcastle and Man City to win with over 2.5 match goals. City-WBA has gone over 2.5 goals in five out of six meetings as well as two this season at The Hawthorns.
Burnley haven't been in great form but Newcastle haven't done the business expected in the window and their last two home games ended in draws with Brighton and Swansea. I'd be surprised if Burnley lost.
Goals were at a premium last night and not too many stand out. Stats suggest Everton v Leicester suggest btts and overs but I don't know how much the Riyad Mahrez situation will hit the Foxes.
Other games I looked at included Hibs v Motherwell, Exeter v Forest Green and Southampton v Brighton.
In the end I'm on a goals double and taking the Italian Cup semi-final 1st leg between Milan and Lazio and the Spanish Cup semi-final 1st leg between Leganes and Sevilla.
Milan beat their rivals 2-1 in the league at the weekend and earlier in the season Lazio won 4-1 at home. Five of the last six meetings at the San Siro have saw both scoring and Lazio have netted in 19 of their last 20 games so should contribute.
Leganes games have been high scoring recently with five out of six seeing btts and overs and four of Sevilla's last six have been the same. It was 2-1 to Sevilla at home in October and they won the previous meeting in Leganes 3-2.

I’ll probably get on BTTS and Overs now at a fair price. Will be waiting for SkyBet and others to get their corners markets up, though. Both usually get a few in their meetings (7 v 5 and 9 v 5 in the two games this year) and it often bulks up the price of BTTS nicely.
