Mr Fixit’s Top Tips: Wales can’t lose with Giggs

LATE goals are great goals and Virgil van Dijk's last-minute volley on Monday night landed loads of winners on the site.

Scott Allot backed the Dutch not to lose as well as goals and my Super Single was Holland to win or draw.

That was my only bet of the day but doing more more today as the Nations League groups each their conclusion.

Holland, England, Portugal and Switzerland will compete for the trophy and there is plenty to play for in other groups.

I've posted a Scotland v Israel preview with Alex McLeish's men needing a victory to top their group. Scotland were superb in Albania on Saturday and I fancy them to rock Hampden with a glory show.

Other games include Portugal v Poland and Sweden v Russia while there are some domestic games too. Portugal will host the finals and tackle relegated Poland but without the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruben Neves and Bernardo Silva I'm leaving them out.

Dundee United, unbeaten in the Scottish Championship since Robbie Neilson took charge, should beat Alloa at home and they are on my treble with Kosovo and Wales.

United are flying under their new boss and had the benefit of a free weekend while Alloa were losing to League 2 Edinburgh City in the Irn-Bru Cup. A best 2-5 on the home is OK on an accumulator.

Much has been written about Kosovo who are three games from making the Euro finals. They need a draw against Azerbaijan to make the play-offs while their visitors have to win. It seems one of FIFA's youngest members are on a mission and warmed up nicely with a 5-0 win away to Malta.

Azerbaijan will host some games in the 2020 finals so they have plenty of motivation but they were held twice by Malta and ultimately those results could cost them.

I don't like betting on friendlies but Wales look decent at odds against in Albania – as long as Ryan Giggs fields a strong side that includes Gareth Bale. So if you're worried about them don't bet until line-ups are revealed.

Albania were battered by Scotland 4-0 on Saturday to end their Nations League run on a low – and it could have been seven or eight with the Scots hitting the woodwork and having two goals disallowed.

An early red at 1-0 didn't help Albania's cause but defensively they were shocking and if the couldn't handle the pace of Ryan Fraser and James Forrest they'll look like tortoises against Giggs so hopefully he starts.

I don't like putting the same teams on multiple lines but for a Super Single double I'm on Dundee Utd and Wales draw no bet.

Scotland are a glaring omission from my top tips and while I feel they'll win I can't take myself to back them strongly.

There are 10 FA Cup replays and I've picked put a both to score treble that pays well. I liked the look of Oxford City v Tranmere which ended 3-3 first time out and also had considered Billericay v Chesterfield which was 1-1 and Chesterfield have drawn eight of their last nine games with six finishing 1-1 and I'm sure scampi will tip a draw.

HullShaker certainly has and has doubled up with Forest Green v Oxford Utd and that pays 11-1.

My third game is Doncaster v Chorley. Johnb has tipped Chorley at a massive 17-1 and what a bet that would be if it lands. He also sees Chorley scoring 2+ and that encourages me to take both to hit the target.
