IT'S a big weekend in Scotland and England with Scottish Cup ties and focus on the fight at the top of the Premier League.
Tie of the round in Scotland is Kilmarnock vs Rangers at 5.30pm while Celtic play St Johnstone for third time in 12 days having won the previous two by 2-0.
Man City are back at the top of the Premier League but only on goal difference from Liverpool who have a game in hand. It could be nip and tuck between now and the end of the season but I expect both to notch home wins this weekend.
Man United travel to Fulham in the early EPL kick-off and Leeds go to Middlesbrough in the Championship and I'm backing both Uniteds.
I've posted separate Scottish and English previews and most of my tips are reasoned there. Weather's been poor again, particularly in Scotland, so check for call-offs.

@Kyle b – joined this myself after a friend recommened and has had a few good investment picks. He seems to go with players from lower divisions from europe who are on bigger club scout radars and waiting for them to get cherry picked. I so far have just dropped a stake in the account and plan to do some research myself and spread it other just a couple players. So playing the longer game rather than short (top 200 etc). Will pass any tips/pitfalls as I go if interested.
Cheers for response, I’ve watched a couple of YouTube vids and just want to get the basics right before pumping cash in. I was thinking along the same lines, investing in young talent, low risk but potentially huge rewards. I was thinking more along the lines of long term investments. I’ve read something about a change soon to be commencing about dividing people’s shares in 4, probs wait til that is enforced and share prices more affordable for bulk buying. Try and gain more knowledge in the meantime.

@kyle-b @kaiserluc similar to that – I’ve just put a small amount on a few players with big futures expected or players who are injured/out of favour and might then rise when they start playing – Aspas is one of those. Tom Davies, Manual Locatelli and Kieran Tierney are 3 youngsters I’ve got a few quid on. Still figuring it out so just small stakes as experiments. A lot of people play the short term game and closely watch the paper talk and speculation, but it’s very time consuming to do that. Good fun overall but one for small investments for me at the moment, see how it goes.
@Liamw they look solid picks, Tierney was 1 of those on my shortlist myself. The others so far are Donny Van De Beek & Leandro Trossard.
Yeah I believe a lot of people buy into rumours but suppose that could both have a positive or negative impact on players value dependent on the truth of it. Locatelli is an interesting purchase, currently out on loan with an option to purchase. Currently out on loan with an option to buy, thought he would be a regular for Milan in a few years time but they don’t seem to have the belief in him. From what I’ve seen, looks a very good player for his age, one I’d consider buying at right price.
If Karamoko Dembele is involved he’d be a sound investment. Billy Gilmour at Chelsea is another Scot with a good future.

Nathan’s Derby preview
Going to keep my Derby/Hull thoughts simple-ish.
Derby’s away trip to Preston was not really a thriller, but also not exactly a typical boring pinball affair with one shot between them. We carried some injuries to Marriott and Mount, + Ashley Cole wasn’t fit and Jayden Bogle was banned for a match – so we had a right back dilemma. Mount is still struggling with a niggling hamstring so will not feature, and Marriott has had a virus + foot injury to deal with so he’ll possibly feature today when we entertain Hull.
Hull have been in blistering form of late, I forget the numbers but besides a humiliation against Blackburn a few months back, that’s about it when it comes to big red marks against their form. One reason for the turn around in fortune is their right midfielder Jarrod Bowen. He’s a playmaker, he can get stuck in with a tackle and although he’s a leftie, he loves to play the right wing and cut inside the left back to unleash his left boot. Its hit the target 15 times this season, so he’s a real danger.
There is talk that Lampard will put a right footed right back in the left back to nullify Bowens threat. It’s something Mourhino would do at Chelski whilst Lampard was on the books. Maybe Lampard is looking at the ” Mourhino book of coaching ” for that one.
I still think Cole is a match or two away from fitness and Waghorn appears to be about match fit, but Huddlestone seems to of dropped down the pecking order as the holding midfielder behind George Evans.
Derby did very little in the transfer window, but they did bring in very experienced Andy King from Leicester on loan until May. We really need some bite from a player like that in the middle of the pitch. We’re absent of the Mason Mount spark and we don’t look dominant enough. Maybe King will do the biz for us. I know he’s relishing the chance to team up with Nugent once again.
Some teams just know how to deal with certain teams, and even though my picks have been a bit off of late, Derby DO know how to beat Hull. I called it very early before a ball was kicked that Derby would do the league and Carabao cup double on them. The first encounter was pretty straightforward, but the second was more even. But we did beat them twice in the same week. A Derby victory could see them take a third victory this season against them.
We MUST contain Bowen, he’s a real danger, we also need King to be ” King ” too. If we can sort those two parts of the match out, I feel Derby have enough to beat them. In 6 matches, our results are on the slide. 1W, 3D, 2L…. and out of the top 6 for the first time since December. The pressure is on Derby to deliver a win and steady the ship, but can we put an end to Hulls run? I think we can.
I saw Derby to win at around evens or slightly better earlier on today. I don’t suggest dropping this into an acca because we need some form first.
My expected/choice lineup from back/left to right would be:

In Hulls ranks, they have former Nottingham Forest castaway Eric Lichaj. He’s a right back, but can play left back too. If memory serves me right, he’s not had the best of results when he’s faced Derby. If he plays right back, he’s got the strength of Waghorn to deal with, if he plays left back, I think Wilson will turn him inside out.
I forget the refs name but he’s officiated once in a Derby County game, he straight red carded a Wigan player in the first 15 mins and Derby scraped an unconvincing 1 nil win in that game. I have a feeling King will be booked if he starts, I can see him getting really stuck into putting on a display of dominance… If he starts… I think he will.

Has anyone ever used the bet swap thing with bet 365? 7 team mad one on for £13.91, pays the guts of 1800, just on ht there they were all leading, offering 303, but then Lincoln have conceded. I know there down to 10 so I was thinking of editing them out but it only pays 284 then. But I noticed you can switch between coding Lincoln, draw or Northampton. Has anyone ever done this?? If so, is it your current cashout offer that then becomes your stake? Are cashout offers still like they normally are?
Can I leave Lincoln in and swap them out later and still get 284?? Any advice would be appreciated
