WE should all make a pact now – on Fridays next season just bet on French Ligue 2 goals.
The latest round produced 34 in 10 games to easily land the total goals bet for the umpteenth time.
I was thinking bookies must be starting to get wise to this but was in William Hill yesterday afternoon and they had enhanced odds on 29+ to 7-4 so naturally I weighed in.
Well done to all last night's winners although results elsewhere were pretty patchy with the likes of Man United, Braga and Dundalk failing to win.
Ironically my double had one goal too many at Dundee United while the speculative 1pt Super Single on a red card at Partick failed to land.
It's a tough looking card on Saturday with some meaningful games and others where there is nothing to play for so take it easy.

BTW, Bet Victor has good corner options on many games. I had a dabble earlier in the season on the handicap corners (cos they have + and – 4 or 5).
If you can dust out which teams play with wingers and are likelier to get more corners you could do well.

Been a while since I posted any tips. I’ve had a really solid season on the A-League again this year, but a really busy work schedule has precluded me from being on here as much as I’d like. Other than to quickly scan and follow tips from all you legends.
It’s grand final day in the A-League which pits Newcastle Jets against Melbourne Victory. The Jets are a bit of a Cinderella story this year, finishing second in the league and having a fearsome attack. Because of their amazing run, they are the hosts in what I reckon will be a tightly contested game with a bit of drama and a few goals. The whole Hunter region will almost be at this game, as the game was soldout in record time, and there’s been huge crowds at the last few Jets games anyway. Hopes are really high, and Merrick has shown himself (again) to be a class coach in this league, and the players lift for him. No-one would mind McGree ripping out another one of those scorpion kicks either!
Victory will fight as they always do for every ball, and are always a threat going forwards with the likes of Berisha, Barbarouses, Troisi and co. However they are missing Williams at the back, which does present them with some problems.
Because it’s the last game of the season, and this is the main league I bet on each year, I have placed a few more bets than I normally would. I fancy them all, and do think the Jets will come their fairytale this year, beating out my local side Victory in front of a sell out crowd.

It’s the long awaited rematch tonight in what could potentially be both fighter’s last fight depending on the outcome. Bellew won the first encounter against a badly injured Haye, who tore his achilles tendon mid fight and just could not perform with any effectiveness. Having put that performance behind him Haye left trainer Shane Mcguigan and hired the services of Ismael Salas, the very experienced boxing trainer who trained 19 world champions including Jorge Linares. Haye has also started working with strength and conditioning coach Ruben Tabares again (he worked with him when he defeated Valuev for the WBA Heavyweight title) in preperation for Bellew and reports are they have him in optimum condition.
I see Haye controlling the pace of the fight. Being such an athletic and explosive pucncher and this time being able to actually plant his back foot properly to generate power, he should be able to control distance and force Bellew on to the backfoot from early. I’d imagine Bellew’s game plan will be largely looking to counter any Haye misses whilst maneuvering around the ring but for this approach to work he will have to be switched on 100% otherwise one slip of concentration and he will walk onto a devastating combination. I just dont think he can maintain that focus for the duration of the fight. Bellew also has question marks hanging over his chin as he was floored by small cruserweight Makabu and earlier on in his career Mckenzie and Stevenson. Haye punches MUCH MORE harder than them.
The concerning thing here is the age and injuries sufferd by Haye in his career. Haye does also have a tendancy to start gassing in the second half of fights but he has pretty much said in the post fight press conference that he intends on attacking Bellew from the opening bell so I dont think he wants to hang around long tonight. The fact that a one legged Haye was still getting powerful shots off on Bellew in the first fight also fills me with confidence so on a night where he’ll be looking to repair his legacy I’ll be taking the Haye win at a price I feel the bookies are being generous with.
