SUNDAY seemed to be a good day for many and I was a whisker away from landing two trebles.
For the second day running my Top Treble became a double with Nacional draw no bet being voided while there were wins for Borussia M'gladbach and Real Madrid. That added up to an 11-10 winner.
I picked out two parts of the goals treble – btts at Empoli and over 2.5 goals at Sporting but a third leg on btts at Basel was a loser.
Well done to all the winners on Sunday including Greg and Scott with his members bet on two or three goals at Newcastle.
There was a dramatic finish there and in Madrid as River Plate beat Boca Juniors after extra time to be crowned South American champions. Great call from Greg on that game's bookings being pitched too high.
It's a fairly quiet Monday building up the European. Scott and kevinmac have already posted some previews and I'll put up thoughts on Everton v Watford in the morning.

Hi Bully. Like you I was on Newcastle corners yesterday and thought I had won. I had over 1 Newcastle corner in both halfs .
On the stats at half time they showed 2. Then in my memory it showed another before and one after the sending off. Yet today Hills say they got less than 2 in the 2nd half. Soccerway says they got 4 corners. Another site says 3. What’s your recollection?

Anyone have any info on team news etc in the Portuguese league game tonight?
Just wondering why goals seem to be priced pretty highly. Feirense last 5 matches, every game over 2.5 mgs and 21 in total, while opponents maritimo have lost their last 6 league games in a row. 2 recent meetings, (31 Oct, 25 nov), have seen 3-0 and 3-2 victories for tonight’s home side. 5 h2h in the past 18 months have seen 4 go over 2.5 mgs, yet its priced at 13/8 with most bookmakers. Any info would be much appreciated before I place a bet
Can’t see any other reason the price is high, other than both teams are mince. I find that usually this leads to goals, as opposed to cancelling each other out.
