THERE were enough FA Cup shocks on Saturday to justify almost giving the tournament a bodyswerve.
I tipped Wigan to beat West Ham and Notts County to hold Swansea but other surprises included Spurs being held at Newport and Liverpool losing at home to West Brom in a game where VAR worked overtime.
Results elsewhere weren't too bad and Nottingham Forest's late consolation at Hull landed my 26-5 English both to score treble while Hibs beat the Scottish one.
My Super Single was void after the Charlton game was called off late on but a 9-5 Top Treble thanks to Fulham dnb, Wigan not to lose and Juventus gave me a nice profit on the day.
Well done to all the winners including Greg with his Nap and Desmond with a btts double. Scott Allot had a full house of btts treble and a treble that became a double on European games.
Plenty to look at on Sunday including Ross County v Rangers in the Premiership and Cardiff v Man City and Newcastle v Chelsea in the FA Cup.
The usual European previews are up and for the Super Single I'm going with a revitalised Rangers -1 at Ross County.
Graeme Murty's men, with their new signings, played well to beat Aberdeen 2-0 in midweek and should at least be able to match that.
My Top Treble again pays 9-5 and is Lyon draw no bet at Bordeaux who have new boss Gus Poyet in charge and on-form Bayer Leverkusen at home to Mainz. Complete the treble with Barcelona -1.5AH at home to Alaves. Barca have netted 17 in their last four in La Liga.
Bordeaux v Lyon is also on the goals treble. It was 3-3 in Lyon earlier this season and four of the last five meetings in Bordeaux have gone over 2.5 including 5-0 and 4-0 Lyon romps.
Stay in France and add btts at Marseille v Monaco. This is usually a hard-fought derby with plenty of goals. The last five meetings in Marseille have totalled 24 goals – all over 2.5 with btts including a 3-3 draw and 4-3 win for Monaco. The first game this season ended 6-1 for Monaco but their hosts have improved dramatically since then.
Complete the treble with both to score at Milan v Lazio. The Romans have netted 3+ in four of their last six matches and 10 in their previous two. However, their record against AC at the San Siro is poor with no league wins in seven. Five of those have seen both scoring while Lazio won 4-1 at home in September.

For the last game in round 18 of the A-League we have Perth Glory hosting Western Sydney Wanderers.
Once upon a time, Perth were fierce and dominant at nib stadium, but those days seem long past. Their defense is easily the worst in the league, and they seem capable of conceding against anyone. Granted they concede far more away than they do at home, and Wanderers are the least prolific team in terms of goalscoring… so this one will be interesting.
