SUNDAY sees another big card with Celtic facing Rangers before the Scottish Premiership clubs take a break.
I reckon most punters will fancy a holiday after a difficult set of results on Saturday especially in the Scottish lower leagues. Big favourites such as Inverness and Dumbarton failed to deliver and there were four away wins out of four in the Championship – achieved by four of the top five sides.
There's a full Scottish Premiership card, three Premier League games and full fixtures in England's lower leagues.
I hate to bang on about but it's a tough time for punters with so many games in such a short space of time so keep checking team news and keep stakes low.

I suspect the old firm to be mega tight and wouldn’t be surprised by 1-0 Celtic at 13/2
On the bookings front the prices are skinny but for me it’s same tip as last time which was Arfield to get booked. He obliged last time (for the fourth old firm running) at 11/4 but this time is 9/5 anytime or 9/1 first. I expect it to be a 🔥 affair with so much at stake.

There both big odds and really longshots but in terms of the game Celtic are rightly favourites but Rangers have managed to get draws in the bigger away games this season including in Europe so I’d probably side with that.
I’ve seen the both teams to get a red card but the last red card I can remember a Celtic player getting at Parkhead against Rangers was in August 2008 but there might have been another since can’t remember but it’s rare occurrence so would expect bigger odds.

We hate VAR. I’ve not seen up to date stats but I’m certain we must top the table for being screwed by VAR
It’s pathetic I really can stand it. ANOTHER offside because an arm was over the line even though the body and both feet was in line with the defender
VAR also cost me my treble as at 1-1 by HT it had every chance to go O2.5. Oh well.
Offside is offsides no matter by how much,you can’t argue with fact,if there wasn’t VAR then the Wolves goal would of stood as the linesman wouldn’t have spotted it with his naked eye.That proves one thing and that is VAR works,look at the goal the ref didn’t give Liverpool,Var overturned his decision as it was a perfectly good goal,var works guys.

Arms are not ruled offside – in the Wolves case it was his foot by a fraction.
VAR in the Prem is exaggerated. I don’t see this being the case in most of the other Euro top leagues.
England are the only country that use lines for offside,you can’t argue if a players is offside by millimetres,if he’s offside he’s offside,why can’t these people that are arguing Wolves were robbed of a goal understand the rule,he was offside lol.
It’s a bit harsh though and it’s taking goals out of the game which isn’t good.
For me the Wolves goals should have stood because you can’t tell with the naked eye and there should be some margin.
Look at Firmihno’s goal that was ruled out against Watford mr f,it happens to everyone,but offside is offside there should be no margins,your either on or your off.
I went the game today and although we won I didn’t enjoy the Var shenanigans one bit either way. As someone else has said, I never understood it was brought in for offsides in this way and it’s ruining it for the supporter. A fair outcome today was 1-1 at half time and all to play for second half. Even the ref looked embarrassed (and he was absolute garbage for the whole game) as he refused to book wolves players for complaining about the VAR when they clearly merited it

Like some others on here in licking VAR inflicted wounds tonight. I’m trying to decide what I think about it all and finding it hard to reach a logical conclusion. I instinctively absolutely agree with Mr F that taking goals out of the game isn’t a positive, and when there’s a hairs breadth in it it seems like harsh madness. But you are either offside or your aren’t, and I can’t think of a way of re-defining offside that would improve the situation.
If they’d had VAR back in the day, I’d have seen arsenal lift the champions league trophy in Paris and never said a bad word about it since!
This extreme focus on fractions for offside is especially cruel for the general attacking flow of the game. Look at Pukki’s ‘goal’ yesterday, never offside in a million years imo. Is that really what it was brought in for? I thought it was to assist in “clear and obvious” errors. As it stands I prefer the game before VAR, human errors and all…
To be honest I was more annoyed about the ref assisting the opening Man City goal with his shocking interference. Can’t believe that didn’t get overturned on review!

I’m a lifelong gooner and we have been worse than I can ever remember for the most part of this season. But we were vastly improved (from a very low bar admittedly!) until the 80 minute mark today, building upon some small improvements in the draw with Bournemouth, and with a new, seemingly skilled manager with new ideas and some genuine talent to squeeze a lot more out of it doesn’t seem like the right time to bet against Arsenal. That’s just my opinion obviously. If I wasn’t an arsenal fan I would have been betting against us nearly every game this season and made a small fortune by now.!

At the Emirates we always score unless we’re playing city lol, as I said united have far to much up top and in the middle baring in mind we’ll be without chambers,Xhaka and possibly sokratis. Everyone in England hates VAR, but if Scotland had it the Celtic goal would not have stood. Makes Premier league hard to watch but for blatant ” goals ” like Eduords it’s a good thing.
I’d like it but not the way England to do and let’s tweak the offside rule to allow more marginal goals.
I think if it was just used by the ref to assist him rather than the screwed up way it’s done here then it wouldn’t be too bad.
But over analysing to find an offside for a fraction so small you can’t see it with the naked eye is a joke.
We’ve been let down a lot with VAR this season and have not benefited from a VAR decision yet.
