I WAS just three minutes away from landing my big Super Single before Stuart Armstrong's superb free-kick sunk my San Marino +6 handicap bet.
Scotland's 6-0 win was a bit of surprise – most people reckoned it would be three or four – but the minnows were worse than I thought and it could have been nine or 10.
I'd love an answer to this question though: In four games against the best side in the world (Belgium) the worst side in the world didn't have their defence breached in the first 30 minutes of three halves out of four. How is that possible when you see how badly they defended at Hampden?
Those displays against Belgium and Scotland's lack of a goal threat convinced me we'd struggle to score six but we made it quite easy.
My other Super Single of Robert Lewandowski to score first was more risky but surely I get half my money for Frankowski!
At least Poland's late flurry landed my 14-5 Top Treble along with Russia and Croatia +1 so it wasn't all bad. That was a 5.6pts profit and I've remembered to take 1pt off for Coventry losing to Tranmere when I needed them to win to void the moneyback fivefold posted on Saturday.

For a Super Single I'm taking a chance on Albania at Moldova. Let's face it both sides are poor but Moldova come into this one having handed Andorra their first qualifying win after a 21-year wait.
Moldova lost 1-0 having beaten the Andorrans 1-0 at home for their only points. Albania have three wins including a 4-2 defeat of Iceland and 2-0 home success against the Moldovans.
Wouldn't stake too much on this but Albania should win at a best 10-11 with Betfred and Ladbrokes.

Recently my nose started twitching when he was giving well done’s to almost every winning tip as if he was trying to earn favour, bit creepy I thought.

Actually Tarkowski would fit in very well in that England defence. Contrary to our playing style he is very much capable of playing out from the back and always looks to play forward. Calm and composed and a good physical presence as well. So many players get chosen on the current club they play for rather than performances. Agree that Maguire is overrated Macca but the England backline is gonna be built round him for many years to come.

Ahh i see,is it because i said Maguire isn’t good enough for England,if that’s the case he isn’t,his defending is all over the shop and for such a big centre half he is hardly commanding in the box that much was evident in the game v the Czech Republic,Tarkowski is a good defender but he’s not world class,England need world class players as thats the level of football they play at nothing less.I’m afraid England don’t have an abundance of players in these positions,you could argue Stones but he’s as bad as Maguire.

Just to add, Green Bay are my team and last week saw Aaron Jones have 4 TD’s, we regularly use him and I’m almost certain he will have atleast one TD this week… I like ya to win the game but the -3.5 handicap I’m leaving alone as unless I’m certain on a comfortable win I won’t touch anything more than -3, games are won regularly with a field goal (3 points) so I’m not having it, the packers are 5/9 to win generally with Jones being 8/13 for an anytime TD, that’s why 6/4 for both occurring represent good value IMO.
The -3.5 handicap basically says that on an even field (no team having home advantage) the game would be a 50/50 chance split on who wins, I do feel we will come out on top here and maintain our good record this season, only defeat was to philly were a rebound interception from the 3 yard line condemned us to a 34-27 loss with seconds left, if this was caught the game would have gone to overtime were we could still have a 100% record, just feel we are too much for the lions on home soil in our current form.

It was interesting someone said they had opened 45 accounts under different names . This suggests there needs to be some address to the sign up process to stop this happening. Anyway well done to all involved in a successful investigation. May it be a warning to all .
