IT was a good night for most on Tuesday with plenty of goals – although I was one short for a full house.
My confident Super Single of Falkirk and Raith won at evens – and was also tipped by Greg – and my fourfold came in thanks to over 2.5 goals in the Bayern and PSG games, Marseille to win and Birmingham not to lose. Thankfully the Blues held on to draw in 90 minutes before collapsing in extra time.
A nice 6-1 both to score treble was beaten by Partick Thistle and as well as hitting the inside of the post and having one cleared off the line they seemingly had a goal ruled out for offside that should have stood.
Well done to all the winners including Chris Guy with another scorer in James Tavernier. Both players I tipped to net in my Scottish preview did so – Josh Windass at 3-1 and Motherwell's Curtis Main at 16-5.
Wednesday's much quieter with Spurs facing Newport in their FA Cup replay. Should win this comfortably at Wembley – by how much could depend on starting line-up. The handicap line is set at -2 which should be covered if Spurs play some first-choice players.
Elsewhere it's about Dutch league games and some cup games including Sevilla v Leganes in the second leg of their semi-final which is locked at 1-1. In Germany it's Eintracht v Mainz and Schalke v Wolfsburg and there should be goals in both ties.
In France ties include Lyon at a Montpellier side who knocked them out of the League Cup in December.
Lyon will be looking for revenge and to bounce back from Sunday's thrilling 3-2 defeat at Monaco. They are 7-5 at Marathonbet.
PSV have won their last 21 home league matches and of course are short at 1-8 with BetStars at home to Excelsior but PSV -1 could be on an accumulator at 4-11 with bet365.
