I'VE just recovered from a nervous 90 minutes watching Scotland as they edged out Israel to make the Nations League play-offs.
It's a pretty big deal considering we haven't qualified for a major tournament since 1998 – so we are wins against Finland then probably Serbia from reaching the Euro 2020 finals.
James Forrest was the star of the show with a hat-trick to follow his double in Albania and I tipped him to net at 4-1 in my preview.
I also backed Scotland to win but didn't put them in the top tips as there's nothing worse than seeing your team lose and for them to cost you money.
So while Scotland risked my health it was Wales who damaged my wealth. I did say to hold off backing them if Gareth Bale didn't start so hopefully some did.
However, Bale came on after the break and having watched Albania being humiliated by the Scots this was a shocking result for Ryan Giggs' side.
I've posted a Super Single shortlist for members so let me know what you think.
Well done to all the winners last night especially Scott and Greg. They had full houses of three winners each from three tips posted – great stuff.
That's the Nations League groups finished and they were miles better than the usual friendlies but still a pain.
On Wednesday there are three more FA Cup replays – Bristol Rovers v Barnet, Hartlepool v Gillingham, Salford City v Shrewsbury. In Wales it's Connah's Quay at Newtown so not too much to look at.
Salford, second in the National League, could surprise Shrewsbury and the man the League One side will fear is Adam Rooney. I tipped the signing from Aberdeen to top score at the start of the season and his hat-trick against Aldershot last week took his tally to 16 in 21 games.
2pts Super Single
- Rooney (Salford) to score
- (13-8, Betway)
Mr Fixit's November Super Singles Total: -4.3pts
Mr Fixit's November Accas Total: -18.5pts
