A SECOND goals treble in two days returned me to profit on the advised accas.
I took both to score at Milan and Marseille and over 2.5 goals at Bordeaux for an 8pt win.
Lyon losing beat my Top Treble and a soft injury-time penalty for Ross County against Rangers downed the Gers -1 Super Single.
Well done to all the winners including Greg with his Italian goals tips.
It's much quieter on Monday although Greg's eyes will be on Cliftonhill where his struggling St Johnstone side head in the Scottish Cup. The pitch will be heavy and it won't be pretty but after a rocket from boss Tommy Wright at the weekend I expect Saints to edge through against the League One side who have star man Alan Trouten banned.
Saints have injury problems but Wright says he planned to ring the changes anyway after being well beaten at home to Partick Thistle. Rovers have conceded 18 goals in seven games to sides two leagues lower than Saints so despite the conditions and a lack of confidence in Wright's men they shouldn't slip up.
Same goes for Benfica at Belenenses. Benfica have a great record against their opponents winning to nil on their last four trips and beating them 5-0 in Lisbon earlier in the season. Stats say they'll win to nil but for the accumulator I'll go with the straight away.
A double on Saints and Benfica should land at evens with Stan James and while I like that I'm adding both to score at Celta Vigo v Real Betis. I watched Betis lose 5-0 at home to Barcelona and they impressed me until they collapsed after conceding the first goal after the break.
Before that loss they'd netted eight in beating Leganes 3-2 and Sevilla 5-3 so plenty of high-scoring games. Celta have seen four of their last six go over 2.5 goals so should see both scoring here.

Will be at Cliftonhill tonight to watch my struggling side try and progress past league One Albion Rovers. It’s probably one of the worst grounds in Scottish football but like a lot of fans not somewhere I’ve been before so looking forward to it. Make no mistake about it, we are dire at the moment, have 9 players injured and will be playing on a tattie field. As Mr F said the pitch will be heavy and that will suit Albion.
Albion are Scotland goals kings, there’s been 4 or more goals in their last 9 matches and they have conceded 2 goals or more in 18 of their last 20 which is incredible
I still expect us to win but finding value will be tough – my suggestion would be to leave the game well alone

@fraser51 I’ll be honest mate fully expect us to win and despite how terrible Albion are defensively, I don’t see us going there and hammering them. 9 regulars down although the boys who come in to replace them will still be better than Albions players, the pitch is going to be a key factor I think. A quite good day which could have been perfect if it was not for the Crotone game going corner crazy I don’t know what the final total was but with half an hour to go there were 12 already on the board. I never saw that coming I though there was a good chance neither would get 3 hence including the race to 3 neither at 34-1 in my fun acca. Interesting the other 2 parts of the acca landed at 5-1 and 2-1 and that’s given me an idea for the future. several of the games I picked out no team hit the race to 5 so I might look at a small Trixie next weekend rather than accumulators.
