TUESDAY is another quiet night so I'll continue to concentrate on the World Cup.
I've posted a preview on Brazil's Group E and will add Group F as soon as possible. My best bets for Group A-D have been posted on a new thread.
There are more friendlies on Tuesday including Russia v Turkey, Romania v Finland, Luxembourg v Georgia and the Baltic Cup clash between Lithuania and Latvia so nothing to get excited about. In Sweden Gefle entertain Helsingborgs and that's about it.
Russia will be desperate to get a boost in their final outing before facing Saudi Arabia in the World Cup opener but their form is poor with four defeats in five including the latest 1-0 loss to Austria.
The Turks could be without top scorer Cenk Tosun of Everton who was sent off against Tunisia at the weekend and best bet in Moscow could be under 2.5 goals at 7-10 with Marathonbet.
Romania beat a weakened Chile 3-2 but it was a good display and that's three wins in a row. They should beat Finland in Ploiesti at a best 8-11 with boylesports.
Under 2.5 goals at Russia and a Romania win pays 2-1 at Marathonbet but I'm not putting points on it.
Latvia need a draw in Vilnius to win the tournament after beating Estonia while Lithuania need to triumph by three goals following a 2-0 defeat by the Estonians. A draw looks the call.

Interesting especially re Sunderland. Ross is a young and fairly inexperienced boss who might not some time to adjust and also he’s got a big rebuilding job to do.
I agree at the moment about City and if anyone is to challenge they’ll need to spend hugely and wisely.
Rebuilding job too an extent but it’s been a mismanaged club for years. For me man for man their squad is head and shoulders above both the top 2 of League 1 in the season past… Wigan and Blackburn both recent EPLclubs in their own right.
Ellis Short gone and if Ross can keep the nucleus of that squad together with a few shrewd additions then I’ve no doubt who will be champions cone next May.
3/4 Too finish top 3 looks very assured but I’ll stick the 3/1. Ross turned St Mirren in a short space with the same players so he is clearly a good man manager rather than a chequebook manager but I don’t need too explain his credentials or potential too anyone up here least of all you.
Just think at 3/1 it’s a great bet
Ross has done brilliantly at Alloa and St Mirren and turned them round quickly but Sunderland’s a much bigger job and fans will need to be patient with him.

I would want more than 4/7 on Man City to win the league again,to many of the top sides will have invested heavily (Liverpool for one) to close the gap,and it will be a lot tighter than last seasons premier league thats for sure 4/7is poor imo,again Wolves a top ten finish i would want more than the 5/4 on offer as they are an unknown quantity in this league,they have been relegated once and there will only be four places left for a top ten as the usual six take theirs so really no value there either,Burnely are 10/3 for a reason they take there first steps into european football and with a squad as little as theirs could well find themselves in a relegation scrap unless they can find and answer to the problem of adjusting between european and domestic football every other week.Can’t see Wolves or Burnley in the top ten.
Macca I agree with the Burnley price and their split attention with Europe but 5/4 on wolves for the top 10 is having a laugh.
On the rest spending heavily, you can spend as much as you like it’s about who you buy and if they compliment your system enough too close the gap too City. Chelsea are miles off, Spurs will always be also rans because they won’t spend big,Arsenal are so far behind now it’s frightening. Liverpool and United are the only likely challengers. Your club play better football United are boring but more consistent. I’d rather Liverpool got a partner for VVD and tighten up that backing more. Pogbas a bigger drawback than an elephants 4skin,until he goes or performs United won’t win the league while he’s their supposed lynchpin

Struggling Gefle are right near the drop zone, if their bad run continues will have a relegation battle on their hands. They’ve lost 4 of the last 5 games, in these games they faced sides lower in the table than Helsingborg – recently conceding 5 at home to Landskrona, 2 to Sodra, 3 to Halmstadt.
Helsingborg are on a good run, winning 3 on the bounce and in good shape. Whilst they haven’t been smashing the goals in they’ve done enough to win games, against tougher opposition. Expecting them to come out victorious in this game, Gefle may well grab a home goal but Helsingborg should have too much for them.
