SO that's another month of betting out the way and I ended on a high with a 25-1 winner.
That came thanks to a first-scorer double on the VIP Tips – Christian Doidge and Sam Cosgrove – and Motherwell landed the Super Single while I was evens on the accas thanks to a 7-2 both to score treble success to go with two losers.
The end of the month crept up on me and it's nice to finish in profit on the singles and multiples – a total of 18.1pts. It's not spectacular but satisfactory.
It seemed a pretty good day all round with plenty of winners. Greg maintained his good form with a 7-5 Nap success while Desmond's goals bets produced a full house of winners although the return was reduced to around 12-1 after two postponements.
I picked Sunday's Super Single on Thursday and I'm happy to stick with Leicester -1. As maccathered has said some bookies will pay out on Liverpool as title winners if the Foxes don't win but I don't see them slipping up against a poor Everton team.
Man City played poorly at Newcastle to drop points and Liverpool looked a tired side as they held on against Brighton with 10 men. Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers, whose men have fewer games thanks to no European football. will be telling his men to pile on the pressure and they could emerge as the Reds' main challengers.
Also in the Premier League I expect Arsenal to give caretaker boss Freddie Ljungberg a win at Norwich although going for goals could be the safer option. Man United will have to be close to their best to beat Aston Villa and Wolves v Sheffield United looks tough to call.
In Scotland I expect Celtic and Rangers to win by at least against Ross County and Hearts respectively and there are plenty of games to look at on the Continent.
My Top Treble in Saturday's Record was Celtic, Rangers and Leicester all to win by two or more for today's Top Treble I'm taking Celtic -1, Rangers -1 and Leicester to win and it pays not badly at 3-1.
I'm also attempting two goals trebles – one a Dutch overs – and the other a both to score line.
I'd picked out the games at AZ, Emmen and Twente for over 2.5 goals and if it takes your fancy at 19-10 then go for it. Ive decided to add risk by taking all five matches at a more appealing but of course more risky 4-1.
Stats are crazy for the first three. For example both AZ and VVV have seen over 2.5 land in their last six games, Emmen and PSV their previous five and Twente and Ajax in five out of six.
My both to score treble double with Norwich v Arsenal and should land unless Ljungberg has uncovered a couple of defensive stalwarts at the back of the Emirates. Add Atletico v Barcelona that's brought up the market in five out of six. It wasn't meant to be a treble but Monaco v PSG has been rained off.
Other teams I like include Lazio, Athletic Bilbao and Inter Milan while Juventus are extremely short in the early Serie A game.
