THERE is top-flight Friday night action in Scotland and England at the start of a busy weekend.
Rangers travel to Partick Thistle with a slim chance of going top of the table and I've posted a separate preview as well as a Super Single on the game from the, ahem, Energy Check Stadium at Firhill … and it's the first and last time I'll use the full name.
In the Premier League Bournemouth tackle Brighton and even at this stage it's almost a must-win. Eddie Howe's side have comfortably survived their first two top-flight campaigns but if they lose to the promoted men they'll be in serious relegation trouble.
Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are the only pointless teams and this is Howe's chance to kickstart the season.
I'm interested in the home at 5-4 with Paddy Power despite Brighton picking up their first win last weekend with an impressive 3-1 success against West Brom.
Jermain Defoe is yet to strike and this could be is his time. He is 9-5 with Paddy Power to net at anytime.

Both sides head into this Copa Libertadores 1st leg tie in fine fettle and although I don’t follow the Argentinian league as closely as I used to, I’ve been tracking Wilstermann’s succeses in Bolivia very closely.

Looking at a 2nd Night Owl and the Colombian second tier isn’t a frequent hunting ground for me but a particular price has caught my eye…
