Top Football Tips
Leagues Tipped: ,

THERE was some thrilling action on Wednesday and that was just at Pittodrie.

Aberdeen v Rangers lived up to its billing with six goals, two penalties and two red cards. There were some great tips on the site including both teams to have a player sent off at 25-1 and two penalties in the game at 22-1.

I tipped a red in my Scottish preview and Scott predicted a penalty awarded and both teams to score in his match preview.

As Scott said to me in a text: “That game was a BetBuilder's wet dream.”

For the top tips my two 1pt bets were losers and it didn't really go to form in the other Scots games with Hearts, St Johnstone and Kilmarnock all failing to win.

Not much to look at on Thursday with just three main games – cup ties from France and Spain and Lazio facing Empoli in Serie A.

Real Betis and Valencia meet in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final and it could be tight. The sides drew 0-0 in Valencia earlier this season and three of the last four at Betis have gone under 2.5 goals. Greg has posted tips on Betis v Valencia.

Lyon must be fancying their chances of cup glory after a massive form lift in recent weeks culminating in a 2-1 defeat of PSG. That was the champions' first league loss of the season and it was Guingamp who handed them a first domestic loss of the campaign in the French League Cup.

They paid for that with a 9-0 loss a few days later and haven't won since that shock victory. Lyon won 4-2 at Guingamp last November and on their last four visits but it has to remembered the Ligue 1 strugglers have gone all the way to the League Cup Final. Lyon are 7-10 with Unibet which looks a little short.

Lazio are big favourites at home to Empoli and could win to nil at 8-5 with McBookie. The last three in Rome have gone that way as did a league meeting in Empoli last September.

I've had a closer look at the games and I quite like a Lazio/Lyon double but at 6-5 I'm not putting nay points on it.

That was definitely a nail-biting seconds half. Was good to watch.

Seems Killie are also in a dip in form or the form runs completely over form them.

    Slow day again tomorrow ,

Also, could someone explain to me what a wet dream is?

    • jamesylfc 12 months ago

I’m excited to see how people try and explain a wet dream 😂
I would advise not googling it!

    • elvis parsley 12 months ago

Basically it’s just a standard dream people have after falling asleep in the bath

    • david-footystats 12 months ago

That sounds rather relaxing Elvis, might have a wet dream tonight.

No bet for me tomorrow but have one already on for Friday which came good for me on Monday.

    Eindhoven v Jong PSV

Went for the Asian Lines again due to slightly better odds, this has came up last 5 H2H meetings and given the goalscoring prowess of the visitors, I can’t see that changing here.

Oh dear, Thursday kicks off already.

    No horse racing.

    • Andya36 12 months ago

Well it was settled as a loss but there were 62 corners in total……..

Unless I have the understanding of that bet all wrong….. either way I have emailed sky bet

    • GregBrowning 11 months ago

Must have an incorrect understanding mate as there is no way you’d get 175/1 just for there to be 48+ corners across the 6 games

    • sean567 11 months ago

The 4/1 on city to win the league post newscastle loss is looking a sound investment at present, long way to go yet and I’m sure odds will nip and tuck game by game, interestingly bet365 are now offering outright premier league title odds in play as games are happening. On a side note, the arrogance of Liverpool football club astonishes me, the self entitlement and hypocrisy of the fans, players, pundits and ex players alike is just staggering, every other hour another ex player or fan is chirping up with, one day it’s liverpool can handle the pressure and then next it’s liverpool prefer no pressure and this will suit them, this title victory for city will be way sweeter than last years canter and pushes the aguero moment close, the ‘it’s our year’ crew will just have to wait yet another season

    • maccathered 12 months ago

Really have City won the title???

    • Mr Fixit 12 months ago

For me it’s still all to play for but the other day you seemed to concede the title to City.

    • maccathered 12 months ago

To many injuries mr f,they can’t be drawing games and they have lost to many to be title winners.Liverpool need to invest this summer and they will spend big.I thought they were going to in January but Klopp went the other way.

    • wanwirsiy 12 months ago

Really. The easiest way to go bankrupt. Go ahead and lump on city. Selling money for tears 😭 in return. It’s for Liverpool bro.

    • gaz1105 12 months ago

City will be crowned champions come May – that’s my opinion

    • GigiKenzo 12 months ago

Liverpool must be wondering where their 7 points lead a few weeks ago has gone to

    • maccathered 12 months ago

      They didn’t have a 7 point lead

    • GigiKenzo 12 months ago

Macca didnt liverpool had a 7 point lead on city prior to ya first loss. Stop crying mate

    • maccathered 12 months ago

No it was a 4 point lead which could have been 7 had they not drawn with leicester.

    • alex_mufc83 12 months ago

      it was actually a 9 point gap following the 5-1 win over Arsenal;

    • maccathered 12 months ago

What was that for a day until city played their game lol

    • alex_mufc83 12 months ago

just stating the facts lol they were actually 10 points ahead of City on 29th Dec, as Spurs were second at this stage.

    • maccathered 12 months ago

Thats your opinion and i for one respect that,i don’t respect your talk about Liverpool their fans and ex players,Liverpool have lost 1 game all season yes 1,every team has a blip and if Liverpool’s blip is to draw a game and still pick up a point then fair play to them.Good luck with City winning the league.

    Watford v Everton

Early prices on cards at Bet365

    Over 0 cards for Watford
    Over 0 cards for Everton
Over 2 cards in the match for both teams combined

    10/11 NAP

There is going to be some angst between the two sides after the Marco Silva affair.

Everton love cards on the road.

The referee also isn’t afraid to show cards.

Have also done various other bet builders based around bookings on the same match. Watford haven’t had many cards at home of late but the bad blood may change this.

The Asian line for cards is set at 3.0 which is very much achievable, so that may be a a selection that some would add to any weekend accas to boost odds. The selection will be void / push if there are exactly three yellows.

  15. Andya36 12 months ago

48+ corners combined in all the SSPB matches

Did this last night it was over 48 corners in all games but was settled as a loss. I’m I just being daft or should this have been a winner?

  16. Andya36 12 months ago

Over 11.5 goals, 40+ corners and 120+ booking points combined in all the SSPB matches @ 50/1

Also settled as a loss but thought it won….??

Same same andy. I have been doing them for a couple seasons now. Sky used to do them as well including the red card/pen double in the one match. They stopped it very early last season after a few came in.

A goal short in san jose game aurora couldnt nick one

  21. andrzejstarba 11 months ago

I’m going to plump for Empoli +1.5 Asian handicap. Lazio have had 3 games in very close proximity. They had cup game with extra time last Thursday then league match on Monday and now league match tonight.
Empoli are not great and they need to start picking up points as they are near bottom of the table. If Empoli lose by 2 goals or more this loses but think they can nick a draw or can even lose by 1 goal and this still wins. 1.85 on bet365.

    • mr. orange 11 months ago

I also think it will be a close game. I read Immobile and Luiz Alberto will be rested, Parolo is suspended.
Gone for under 3.0 asian goals at evens

    U20 South American Championships 20:30
Argentina U20 vs Uruguay U20 – over 7.5 total corners

    PDC Premier League Darts 21:10
Van Gerwen vs Smith – Van Gerwen win

    Double 6/4 Bet365 **NAP**

The reverse fixture between Argentina U20 and Uruguay U20 a week and a half ago saw eleven FT corners. Bet365 are offering up 8 corners at 4/6 for tonight’s match. You very rarely get a price of 4/6 for 8 corners.

Van Gerwen is the better player of the two, he is throwing first (advantageous) and its a relatively short format match so a lead is hard to catch.

    Good luck all

Sometimes the law stakes bets can save the day, and if a treble come in, then, it can be a profitable day :)

Main bet Aurora btts&overs, first half btts LOST

Perez Zeledon – btts (Hullshaker) WIN TREBLE
Sport boys W. – btts WIN TREBLE

St. Johnstone – win / over1,5 tg (Greg) LOST

Also on all 4 games at Liberatores: (small stakes)

Profitable thanks to a treble and 3-4 to the first 4 teams as btts&overs.

We just signed a contract to cooperate to build a new ‘small’ stadium (5th league) down here.
It will cost to our government or/and Europe over than 800.000.
Well, just to inform you that, to our hospitals we dont have expert doctors, clean sheets for beds, beds to accept citizens and everywhere there you can see all the kinds of ants, mouses/mice etc. Two hospitals (from 5) have to destroyed years ago…
Then, we have to answer the question, wtf is going in Europe? Who control what is the most important to any country?

Afternoon Guys there’s one game i like the look off kick off in a bit from the India ISL
North East United vs Delhi Dynamos
there’s not much between this 2, giving their H2H stats whereas in the last 6 meetings there’s been 3 wins for both side and 3 draws; but where value can be found is the goal market were an average of 2goals has come in,
North East Utd have a good record of 6 undefeated games of their last 7 home encounters in Super League
North East Utd have won just 1 of their last 6 matches in Super League while Delhi Dynamos In their 15 most recent matches of Super League, Delhi Dynamos have achieved just 2 wins and have suffered 4 defeats in their 5 most recent away matches in Super League.

    Recommended bet:
