I DON'T tend to bet on friendlies – for me there are too many randoms at play – but well done to everyone who targeted these games on Wednesday.
There were plenty of winners on the site throughout the day and all I'd say is if you fancy a bet go for goals rather than WDW.
My only bet was on a treble that was one goal short at Amiens v PSG. It was a poor show from the megastars to only win 2-0 against a side reduced to 10 in the first half but in cup ties teams can take their foot off the gas.
On Thursday there are three more Spanish Cup ties including Barcelona v Celta Vigo which was 2-2 in the first leg. Goals should be on the menu again and Celta have scored on four of their last five visits to the Nou Camp including a 2-2 back in December.
Levante's only goals in four games were in beating Espanyol 2-1 away in their first leg. The last five meetings at Levante have gone over 2.5 goals so this has a chance again.
Sevilla start 2-0 up at home to Cadiz so won't be busting a gut. Elsewhere Porto travel to Moreirense in the Portuguese Cup – and there are several friendlies including Heerenveen v Anderlecht, Sparta Rotterdam v Leverkusen and Genk v Arminia.

Am commencing my first betting challenge today comprising mainly sky selectabet choices (evens or better). Looking to go from £10 to £1k. What could possibly go wrong??
So Bet 1 is on the Barcelona game and my £10 is split between 2 stakes of £5
Stake A: A goal in each half and 5 + corners in each half 11/4
Stake B: 1 corner each team in each half and 10 + booking points each team.
If both parts come in have £30 to go on tomorrow’s selection. If one comes in I will have somewhat less.?

Had to brush the dust off my boxing gloves there, for a fight with bet365.
I had used my £5 free Bonus bet on 3 games involving corners. Two had already landed, and I was waiting on Iceland Race to 9 corners for my treble.
They had 6 at half-time, and on the 57th minute they got their 7th corner. Then around the 70th minute they got their 8th.
I went away for 5 minutes to do something, thinking it was now a shoo-in, and when I returned Iceland were awarded what I believed to be their 9th corner, on the 75th minute.
However, I was wondering why my bet hadn’t cashed out, and when I checked the match stats, it was showing Iceland were only on 8 corners, and the game finished with them on 8.
How did this happen? They DEFINITELY had 9 corners in the game. I saw it with my own eyes on their live feed.
Anyway, I went on to Live Chat, and explained the situation. The boy said he would check the stats. I told him that if they were the same stats that appeared on my side, then they were wrong!
He comes back, says, ‘Nope, only 8!’ I told him, go and watch the live feed around the 70th minute, and tell me what happened to Iceland’s original 8th corner.
10 minutes later he comes back and says Iceland did INDEED have 9 corners.
It pays to fight your corner folks. I know it was only a free bet, but I was losing £15.41 if I had let it go. Or, it could’ve happened with my own money…
Totally agree – if there is a dispute they should watch the feed and settle it.

Similar thing happened in the São Paolo YC the other night but it wasn’t a live feed so I didn’t query it. When watching there in play green screen and Gremio u20s sitting on 9 corners it showed Gremio getting the 10th corner on 82min so the corners market and cash out froze and I’m thinking great just 1 more with 10 mins to go..but I could see although frozen the count remained at 9 in the corners market and in stats bar,in the 90th min according to what they had showed Gremio got the 11th the corner…the market became live again but the corner count went to 10!?
No cash out by this time and it was eventually settled a loser about an hour later.
Wouldn’t have bothered me if at 9 corners they didn’t show Gremio getting a 10th with 10mins remaining but to freeze the markets and cash out because they had been misinformed was poor!

Most of my bets are in play and on the corner markets. I find it has been mostly profitable over the years, if you watch the stats and flow of the game.
My biggest worry now is how many times in the past I might have lost out on, due to not always watching games.
It’s not right but I’d hope when someone loses out someone else profits, that is by doing the opposite bet.
Mistakes are made regularly and I can plenty of emails about them – some are easy to prove but others are impossible.
I bet quite alot in-play solely with 365, and dont watch a live feed etc. Makes me wonder how many have gone down as losers incorrectly if this is the mistakes they make?! Especially for corner bets i just take them at their word..

Paul, re my dispute with bet365 earlier with my RT9 corners bet on Iceland.
Waited over 5 hours and they still hadn’t settled it, so I went on to Live Chat again, and spoke with ANOTHER ‘Joe’ (think everyone who works with them is called Joe).
Anyway, he spoke to the ‘investigations team’ who were now claiming that Iceland only had 8 corners.
Again I told him that I had witnessed ALL 3 second half corners on their live feed, and THEY had confirmed it earlier.
This was one of his replies. ‘The settlement team advised me that there were 9 corners in the game but I believe one of these corners was removed. The final Corner count was Indonesia 5 – 8 Iceland.’
Make of that what you will, but as a compromise I was given £15 in credits.
