BOXING DAY'S always a tough card and I ended with one winner, one loser and a void Super Single.
West Ham and Derby not losing and Middlesbrough winning brought up a 12-5 Top Treble worth two points for a decent profit that almost wipes out the accumulator losses.
My both to score treble was the loser with MK Dons and Nottm Forest failing to net.
The English tips went well with five out of six winners on the recommended bets including Liverpool & over 3.5 goals and Harry Kane to score first. I also tipped Celtic to win to nil at Dundee.
Greg and Desmond found goals hard to come by too and Jordan was unlucky with his double as Oldham scored later than tipped.
Well done to all the winners including HullShaker and macathered who was again spot on with Premier League goals.
The focus on Wednesday switches to Scotland with five Premiership games including Rangers v Motherwell and Hearts v Hibs and I've posted a separate preview which covers my Top Treble. Unfortunately the Hamilton v Killie game is off so you could add Inter not to lose or settle for the double.
In England it's just Newcastle v Man City and hopefully it will be a belter full of thrills and spills – and more than likely a convincing away win. City are of course extremely short as they go for 18 league wins in row and should cover the -1 handicap but again that's no bigger than 4-6 at betfair and I assume Rafa Benitez will set up his side to be hard to beat.
Sergio Aguero bounced back from his derby disappointment by scoring two against Bournemouth at the weekend. He has netted in four games running against Newcastle including five in a 6-1 win. Back him at 27-10 with Unibet to score first and that's the Super Single. To net he is 4-6 at Betfred.
Inter are likely to add to AC Milan's woes in the Italian Cup quarter-final after a disastrous short reign under Rino Gattuso. Looks like the ex-Rangers midfielder will be axed if he loses this one. Inter are a best 27-20 and while it's tempting I'd have liked it to be bigger although it's basically a home game and the Milan fans are likely to be outnumbered.
Apart from that there are some Belgian games to look at with on-form Kortijk being tipped on the site to beat Standard Liege.

Kortijk are In fine form, don’t let their league position fool you, they’ve won their last 3 in a row, the biggest scalp of which being 4th place Gent, who they beat 4-1 at home 3 weeks ago. They face 8th place Standard Liege who are a few places above them, but have had very inconsistent results, who’ve only won once in their last 5 games, drawing the last 2 matches 0-0 (against Gent) and 1-1. I agree with your write up on Webster bullseye, but I’ve gone big on his checkout higher than 114.5 rather than the straight win. Might take him in play depending how the game is looking. By the way, you have put Whitlock to win in your main tips bit, which is probably a typo.

Good choice on the over 114.5 out, he hit a 160 in round one and is decent on the combo shots. Infact both he and Whitlock could get a 120+ out which is 15/8. Another bet I’m on which didn’t post for some reason is Webster win & both to win a set 13/8 at Paddypower. Last year the bookies made Whitlock heavy favourite but Webster simply blew him away. Whitlock’s poor visits see his grouping really fall off whereas Webster’s throw is a bit more consistant and thats the difference I think. Good luck today

Burrell and Kennedy were the two (straight) reds WC – not had a detailed look yet but both the Harrogate and Blyth games are frontrunners in the notebook along with a few others ?
Just looking in a bit more detail – midfielder Burrell has played in every game this season and Kennedy has featured in 17 of 22 from defence…he has scored 5 and 3 of them have come in the last 4 games so both suspensions could well impact.

This would’ve came up twice in the last 3 games, the last game in the Scottish Cup was a Rangers goal away from coming in too. Crazy price imo but time will tell. Hi guys, need abit of advice from you guys.
Bit of background, years ago I had multiple betting accounts and a nasty gambling addiction to go with it. When I realised how bad it was I overhauled my life, I self excluded from all the sites, created a new email address so that I wasn’t getting spammed with emails about offers from gambling sites and stopped completely.
Fast forward to 6 months ago I’m married with my own house And I decided I wanted to start having a bet on the football, limiting myself so it doesn’t get out of hand.
I had that many gambling accounts before that I’d forgotton all of them so I created one on William hill with my new email address.
I’ve used this account for about half a year and had a few small wins and never had a problem, on boxing day I placed a 10 pound bet that returned 280 but I couldn’t withdraw, I went on live chat and they said I needed to confirm my date of birth, then when I tried to send documents they said my account was locked and the security team would review and get back to me.
I looked into it and it turns out I had an old account with them which I must have self excluded from, then forgotton about, I’m guessing this is why my account has been locked, due to it being a duplicate.
Now I’m guessing they’ll keep the account locked and take the 280 winnings, do I have a leg to stand on Here?
I used the same name, same date of birth, same debit card, surely this should have been flagged when I registered?
It was a genuine error and although im aware its ny responsibikity to read terms and conditions, and I shouldn’t have made a duplicate but they’ve been happy with me staking and betting for months but as soon as I get a big win they lock it?

City are already well documented and others have posted up write ups. Kortijk are In fine form, don’t let their league position fool you, they’ve won their last 3 in a row, the biggest scalp of which being 4th place Gent, who they beat 4-1 at home 3 weeks ago. They face 8th place Standard Liege who are a few places above them, but have had very inconsistent results, who’ve only won once in their last 5 games, drawing the last 2 matches 0-0 (against Gent) and 1-1. I feel there’s good value in Kortijk to at least get something from this game and think bookies have them over priced. I think they will win this game (this would make 4.87 for the double) but I’m playing it a little safer with the draw no bet.

Newcastle were a disgrace tonight, knew they had no chance of winning so just stick everyone behind the ball and pray to lose by as few as possible. Classy.
What you expect from us clydeman to come out and play and lose 5-0? Could’ve easily snatched a draw at the end there with gayles header and the tactics would’ve been totally justified. In a season where it looks like goal difference could be key that 1-0 defeat could turn out to be invaluable. If you were on city goals and lost then I’d be blaming the likes of Aguero and de bruyne for missing plenty of chances rather than how Newcastle played.
Sean that first 30 mins was embarrassing, never seen anything like it in my life. Yeah de bruyne had a bad night, human after all. They gave them too much respect, total bottle job. Yes they had a go a bit towards the end but why not from the start. I live 3 miles from the ground, could have had a free ticket tonight, glad I couldn’t make it.
It was poor to watch from a neautral point,and lets be fair city had chances but benitez’s tactics worked and they looked dangerous towards the end.Its better going into the next game with only a 1 nil loss to city than a drubbing,it might actually give the Magpies confidence.
I agree it was horrendous to watch and goes against everything that I started supporting Newcastle for, but if they’d come out from the start and attacked Man City they could’ve easily lost 7-0. The only reason it wasn’t at least 4 at ht was down to Man City’s finishing not any great defending we were doing. As macca said it only being 1-0 might actually be a bit of a confidence booster. I’ve seen Man U and Chelsea at home this season sit off Man City there was no way we were going at them. I’d hazard a guess that the only team that will go for them will be Liverpool.
