IT'S been a busy week and a rollercoaster month but Wednesday was one of those where focusing on cards not goals proved profitable.
Greg landed four-based card bets – three singles and an 11-1 double – in the Hearts v Celtic game. Fraser51 trumped that with four named players to be booked landing at 80-1 before half-time.
In fact looking at the comments I can't believe the number of people who won on bookings-based bets and BetBuilders so well done everyone. That was a good team effort.
I tipped a red card at Tynecastle in my Scottish tips preview and a Super Single on Celtic's Scott Brown to be booked put me in profit for the month.
As far as results went Celtic's last-gasp winner at Hearts landed my 3-1 goals treble but the other treble was let down by a lack of goals at the Etihad.
Well done to all the other winners including HullShaker and Scott who had two out of three winners on his Hearts v Celtic preview.
So we reach the end of the month and unfortunately there isn't much to look at on Thursday – Valencia v Real Betis in the Spanish Cup and Willem v AZ in Dutch Cup – and little else.
The winners of the Valencia – it's tied at 2-2 after the first leg – will face Barcelona in the final and you have to fancy the home men who are unbeaten in nine although isn't out of the question. Valencia are a best 3-4 at bet365 to win in 90 minutes but the sides fought out a 0-0 stalemate at the Mestalla in the league.
In the Dutch semis AZ are massive favourites at 8-11 despite losing 2-1 at Willem in the league on Sunday. Before that AZ were on a great run of six wins but look short and I'd rather take both to score at the same price.
The Super Single total I'll leave at +1.1pts and I'd love to do a treble that would wipe out the acca losses which have been vastly reduced in the last week or so.
I've decided to have a go at wiping out the February losses with an 11-2 fivefold featuring football and darts. The Valencia/Willem v AZ btts pays just under 2-1 as I said last night.
I'm adding both to score in the Swiss Cup tie between Thun and Lugano as suggested by mr h. On the h2h 18 of the last 19 meetings have brought up btts and that's good enough for me.

My suggestion would be too swap that Zurich pick at 1/5 for the other Swiss match BTTS at 8/15 which gives a 10/3 treble. Thun & Lugano have seen BTTS in 15 of the last 16 H2H meetings or BTTS & o2.5gls at 1/1 which has landed in 11 of those 15 BTTS meetings.

It’s Al Sadd time again in the QSL. I’ve pointed out just how good they are for goals this year and they duly obliged again last week with another 4. I don’t know every league from around the world, but I’d hazard a guess to say this side would be easily in the top 3 from the whole planet when it comes to their goals to game ratio. (Almost 4.5 per match- just for them) Gabi (ex Atletico) was red carded last week so should be suspended for this one and xavi (yes THE xavi) is still a fitness doubt but they should still have enough in the squad continue their fine scoring streak. As long as Baghdad plays there should be goals. He has 31 in just 17 appearances in the league. Not sure if eto’o (yip that one) will start for Qatar, but if he does then we might see both teams contribute. If you look at the h2h and are put off because you see Qatar SC won the last one 2-0, do not be. This was a cup match played right in the middle of the Asian cup, and al sadd had numerous players away with the national team. Nap is from this game and the Greek cup tie between olympiakos and I’ve added a couple of other bets too. I reckon we will see plenty of goals in both. Tie in Greece sits 3-3 after the first leg and olympiakos have netted 3+ in their last 6 home domestic matches.

Should be a tight game Pete, they drew 1-1 all in a league match in Dec at Potenza but it’s hard too ignore Trapanis home record this season.
Trapani have played 18 at home this season and won 15. They’ve drawn 1 while losing too Juve Stabia 2-1 in the league & a 2-1 extra time loss to Seria B side Cosenza in the Coppa Italia. Although they were desperately unlucky in that tie with 60% possession, 10-3 on corners and 18-4 on shots however Cosenza did go down to 10 men it’s still a decent showing against a team sitting 11th in Seria B.
I’d pick Trapani to win and that’s 3/4 but Trapani to score 2+ @1/1 is appealing 👌

I had a great conversation of friend of mine who works at stoc exchange. We talked about investing money in stocks. Then we talked about betting. So our thougt was to look at betting like investing on stock. So i will try something like that.
I will start with 10eur and will look for stakes about 1,20 to 1,30 a day. In 20 days you should get to app. 1000eur….if all bets land.
So it will be called “STOCK-EXCHANGE BUILD UP” and will start tommorow. Hope to get to 1000 first time.

In my experience it’s always the “safest” looking bets that let you down – and the powerhouse teams are usually the main culprits.
