Potenza v Rende in the Seria C Cup should be a one sided affair. Both sides are from Group C and are in contrasting positions,Potenza sit 2nd and Rende are stone cold last and winless with just 3 goals to their name in 8 outings. Rende are a youthful side with 22 of their 34 players 21 or under,they’ve have shipped 10 in 4 aways and netted just once. Nothing else but a bonus point win for us this morning. 14 changes as we look to rotate the squad and keep our best team fresh for the game on Sunday against Japan. Russia be playing their 4th game in 2&1/2wks and may tire after all their hard efforts but haven’t been hammered in any game. I can see us running away in the 2nd half though winning by about 30 points and -35 points is the handicap.

Spare a thought for two lads here in my home town of Wigan. 9 months ago, I’ve just read, they chucked in £50 each on a double of Salford rugby league to finish in the top 5 and Jackson Hastings of Salford to be named Man of Steel of the RL season. Both obliged. The lads thought they were picking up a cheque for £23,500 yesterday. But no! Hills are saying it’s a related bet and was struck in human error by one of their shop assistants, who claims he must have been half asleep at the time. Had this problem when I used to work in one, regular monitored customer came in and placed a £1000 treble, first two horses won at EVS going onto an 8/1 antepost, staff member struck the bet but before sent to BAC (bet authorisation) and they accepted the bet, months later the antepost bet won and when it come to paying out they refused and said it shouldn’t have been taken, long story short they paid him out after 3 months of him being on their back because of ‘bad publicity’ yet the damage had been done for the 3 month prior 😂
