IT was a four-day wait for my first bet of the month and I timed it right with a 6-4 winner.
Cliftonville and Klaksvik both won 4-0 in the Europa League while Rafael Nadal beat Nick Kyrgios in thrilling second-round match at Wimbledon.

Again not too much to look at on Friday and while I'm on concentrating on the weekend games I've picked out another football/tennis treble.
The Africa Cup of Nations has reached the last-16 stage and Friday's favourites should both win. Morocco haven't conceded yet and face a Benin side who haven't won while Sadio Mane's double – and he missed a penalty – took Senegal through 3-0 against Kenya and they tackle a Uganda side who did OK in the groups but crashed 2-0 to Egypt and this could be a similar result.
Add new kid on the block Coco Gauff to continue her amazing debut at Wimbledon by beating Polona Hercog. The 15-year-old American thinks she can beat anyone and lift the title and while that's far-fetched she should be making the fourth round.

Yea, I’ve noticed a huge difference in prices between firms. As Macca said, Bet365 are awful. They offer up to 50% extra profit on accumulators to entice people but looks like they’ve offset this with some terrible prices. Betfair, William Hill & Unibet seem to have the best prices.

earth shattering news tonite just in from local wee wh shop just round the corner from me closes in september 12 staff getting made redundant 10 shop staff and 2 cleaners blaming the downturn on revenue from the slot machines, lassie was saying going to be 4,000 redundancies uk wide and hundreds of shops closing, its all well and good never seeing a poor bookie but not nice hearing real people losing real jobs that aren’t very well paid either……………. sad
Made the announcement yesterday – 700 shops to close and Ladbrokes/Coral and others won’t be far behind them.
All their profit was made from the slots and they’d have closed years ago if it wasn’t for the machines.
Bookies partly to blame by not regulating them better and also guiding everyone online even when you’re in a shop.
