Top Football Tips

MAN CITY got the win they wanted against Spurs and now it's down to Liverpool to respond at Cardiff.

The Welsh side are fighting for their lives but Liverpool's class should shine through and produce a comfortable win.

Elsewhere I can see goals in the other games between Arsenal v Crystal Palace and Everton v Man United. Arsenal's home record should see them through but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's honeymoon at Old Trafford is over and he is staring at a fifth successive loss.

Those defeats are two to Wolves and two to Barcelona and a trip to Everton is tough considering the home side's improved form. They surprisingly lost at Fulham after three wins in a row and have recently kept clean sheets at Goodison against Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

I can see the Toffees avoiding defeat and for the second day running I'm going with a draw no bet Super Single.

In Scotland Celtic can't lift the title at Hibs after Rangers beat Hearts but Neil Lennon's men should pick up the points.

Plenty of games to look at in Spain, France, Holland and Germany and I've picked out a goals treble. I was thinking about an 11-2 Top Treble of Lille, Villarreal and Hertha Berlin but I'm not convinced to will leave it out.

My goals treble over 2.5 match goals at Freiburg v Dortmund and Real Madrid v Athletic Bilbao and both to score at Real Betis v Valencia.

Freiburg have a terrible home record to title challenges Dortmund, losing the last five to nil, but in recent weeks they've drawn at home to Bayern and at Gladbach. So they could contribute a goal and with four of Dortmund's last five going overs that's the call.

Bilbao have netted in nine of 10 visits to Real Madrid and five of six meetings have gone over 2.5 as have five of Real's previous six and three of Bilbao's last four.

All five of Betis' previous games have brought up btts as have three of four for Valencia. The last two meetings in Seville have finished 2-2 and 3-6 – the former being in the cup this season.

It was two winners and two losers for me on Saturday so a profitable day. I was disappointed Alloa beat my Super Single when they lost 2-1 at Partick Thistle – hopefully some of you cashed out or covered at half-time when they led.

The 2-1 Top Treble was a winner thanks to Man City, Peterhead and Clyde -1  as was the both to score treble at 9-2. But my moneyback fivefold was poor with just two winners.

For the second day running Desmond was beaten by one goal for his sevenfold – this time at 49-1. Brechin were the culprits but like me he did have another good day with 2-1 and 9-2 winners.

Greg had one out of two winners having called over 2.5 goals at Partick Thistle.

Well done to all the other winners and there were plenty on a small but tricky card.

Hi everyone after putting up 11/1 tip on this site just waiting for Arsenal tomorrow I could cash out now put why bet if your going to give it back to bookies
I’m starting to think Palace might draw what to do ?

    • maccathered 5 years ago

Arsenal have to win this game, their motivation should be high with Spurs losing. They need top four as they are not assured to win the Europa league,a win here would put them third so Emery will have the players fired up.

    • Mr Fixit 5 years ago

It depends if you need that money. Cashout is mainly for bookies but it can work you as well.
Arsenal should win but if they don’t how frustrated will you feel.

    • Stesmi 5 years ago

Just place some money on Palace double chance @8/5 as cover then relax knowing you can’t lose whatever happens

  3. maccathered 5 years ago

Great Bolivian card tomorrow and will put some detail up in the afternoon but, aside from Wilstermann’s match, the 3 other games look solid for goals:

    NACIONAL POTOSI
    SAN JOSE
    BOLIVAR

    Over 2.5 match goals
    (1.86/1, bet365) 3 Points

    Best of luck 👍

    Night Owl:

Olimpia prevailed earlier and although the speculative draw selection lost, the btts 1st half landed at 7/2 so happy days and what a game!

That outcome paves the way for the later Paraguayan game…

    LIBERTAD VS. RIVER PLATE (12.15am):

Libertad could steal a march on Cerro to close the gap on 2nd place to within 1 point with a victory – I reckon they’ll do it in fine style!

    Libertad over 2.5 team goals
    (13/8, bet365) 2 Points 😉

    • HullShaker 5 years ago

      2-1 and a goal shy!

  7. leroy 5 years ago

Had a successful return from a brief break yesterday with a couple of BTTS efforts and funnily enough, I’m drawn to the same market on Sunday’s card – across 4 games, no less. The game in China particularly appeals but the price is predictably skinny so I’m taking the extra goal.

Elsewhere, I think there’s value in the prices in Hammarby and South Korea. Meanwhile, another clash in Sweden between the early doors 1st and 2nd looks like it could see either side net, too.

Nice shout with the Chinese game Leroy.

Sort of broke even yesterday. Leipzig + btts won, Hearts/Gers bts won. Lost 3 singles with Man.C. 2 small stake accas down.Today-Arsenal + Liverpool win no sure about Everton/Man.U.Everton were rotten at Fulham and Utd need cleared out they have zero in the middle of the park tho the young scots lad is doing well.Draw looks the one here for me.Hibs/Celtic – depends what Hibs turn up . If they go at Celtic could be interesting.

    Cardiff City v Liverpool
    Over 3.5 goals at 13/10*****
    Over 4.5 goals at 3/1
    Over 5.5 goals at 6/1
Liverpool will be out to even up the goal difference with City which currently stands with city 8 goals ahead,Liverpool face Huddersfield at home in their next fixture, these two games could prove pivotal to even that up,hopefully goals is the way to go here.
    Best of luck

    • kevwood61 5 years ago

goal difference wont matter if city win remaining 4 games and would only count if city lose a game and Liverpool draw one

    • maccathered 5 years ago

If City win all their games obviously they are champions, they have some tough fixtures though,Man Utd away,Burnley away,Leicester City,Brighton away, they are going to drop points in some of those game so goal difference could easily become a factor.

    • recoba 5 years ago

You mean you HOPE there going to drop points in one of they games Maca?
Personally I do too,I hope your team wins the league but obviously its still I’m city’s hands.

    • maccathered 5 years ago

@Recoba yep it’s in City’s hands, obviously i hope they drop points,i’m hoping the derby game where it won’t be easy for them and after a couple of hard games it’s bound to take it’s toll at some point.Kevin De Bruyne out for the season more than likely so he’s going to be a big miss for them fingers crossed lol.

    • recoba 5 years ago

Is that the news on De Bruyne then, nasty!
Still think with only the league to play for City will get it done but here’s hoping.

    • chelseagirl 5 years ago

I cant see Man.C. dropping any pts and even if De Bruyne is out. Sane on the bench yesterday to come in.If they lost Augero thats a different issue.Of course any thing can happen in footy but City dont have the CL to worry about either.I would like POOL to do it make a change.Time will tell.

    • Mr Fixit 5 years ago

Utd been terrible past few weeks.
I don’t know how they can sack Solskjaer having just appointed hime but squad needs a clearout.

    • 10duff10 5 years ago

Oh It’s Ole’s fault is it? Keep embarrassing yourself Macca. If it was down to the manager Kloppo would have been sacked last season for yet another failure but the board are giving him time (as they should do) Ole will get the same so quit spouting utter nonsense

    • Mr Fixit 5 years ago

To be fair he’s not the only one – even before today plenty of people were saying he was the wrong appointment.
I’d give him time but managers don’t get much time.

    • newts68 5 years ago

Don’t be silly Macca go back to last year and recollect what you said about Sanchez’s wages causing problems coz that’s what’s happening.
Solskjærs sat down and spoke to individuals along with Woodward and told them they can go in the summer.
Pogba and De Geah have both demanded the same pay and been told NO. Sanchez will be off loaded in the summer to get wages in line,
Two world class players not pulling there weight sulking over wages and leaving in the summer. Don’t pay our wage demands and we won’t fight for the cause.
Nine games unbeaten and then when he’s given control and tells some players home truths they turn. It needed doing and Solskjær is the right man for United to move forward in more ways than one.

    • maccathered 5 years ago

Of course it’s Ole’s fault,he’s lost his last 5 games,he’s the manager isn’t he.I will bet you Ole isn’t in the job in 6 months time.De Gea has come out and said he wants to leave.Ole was a bad appointment no matter how you word it.

    • Mr Fixit 5 years ago

Today it looked the players’ fault – United were awful.
Solskjaer has inherited a mess and the likes of De Gea and Pogba wanted to go previously.
He needs to get his own players in and see how he does then.

    • kyle b 5 years ago

I’d expect Ole to get at least one full season at the helm, that will allow him to fully put his own stamp on things. The likes of Sanchez need to be moved on in summer to bring down wage bill, I think they need 3 big money signings in the summer to go straight into first team with a world class CB a must. Koulibaly of Napoli would be a real coup. IMO, if they could get hold of him he could transform that defence just like Van Dijk has at Liverpool.

    • maccathered 5 years ago

The best part about all this is,when Man Utd signed Sanchez then realised the phenomenal money they paid him they asked for a meeting between all the top 6 sides managers to express their concern about wages getting out of hand.Man Utd started all this by paying Sanchez silly money,Kyle b,Man Utd now have to try and Lure world class players to the club and that is Not going to happen unless they make top four.City and Pool will have first dibs on the top players.

Youve obviously not read or understood my message properly.
De Geah wants to leave because he’s been denied £500,000 a week, same as Pogba who incidentally got Mouriniho sacked coz he’s a rat, forming a What’s app group and turning all the players. He’s a disgrace to professional football.
Solskjaer is the right man and will be there for the long run. He’s getting to the route of the problems caused by bad management on and off the field.

Good luck with league by the way Macca I really Hope Liverpool win it after going so long, it doesn’t seem right losing a single game all season and finishing second.
Hope we turn that FIFA dream team over on Weds because that’s all they are. No history no soul just a put together club by a sugar daddy. It really is like playing Fifa and buying anyone they want. Best players best manager and thinking they can make history.
We will be well up for weds but maybe not enough, hopefully nick a draw for you.
And they have go to Burnley which is a very tough place to get a result

Ive supported united for the past 45 yrs . and today was by far the worst performance I’ve ever seen. I don’t think ole will get much time next season, also you have all the pundits saying Paul pogba is a world class player I beg to differ. So many times he have tried to take on one or two players and lost the ball then bang the ground blaming the ref for not giving decisions his way . if I was ole I would get rid of pogba , Sanchez. Matic. Jones, , and give Ashley young away for nothing, as far as I’m concerned united will not compete for the premiership for years to come I hope I’m wrong . But for Wednesday I hope city win

No joy with the goal scorers today
Martial – well I suppose at least he managed Utd’s only shot on target – 10/10 for the swan dive with Pike to try and win a penalty – rest of the game think he had about 13 touches and at one point threatened to break into a jog :( ….

I’m on a terrible run at the minute, never seen that performance coming from Man Utd today, players walking round the pitch.

    Hi all

Does anyone on here earn a
living through betting or does everyone have a normal job ?

    • xbets 5 years ago

I work 37 hours a week. Pays really well but sometimes due to indisciplined betting i get into trouble. Stay away

      No

I think most people have normal jobs. if you make your living through betting you’re a professional gambler.
If you’re a pro gambler you’re unlikely to be on this site.

2 out of 3 in Bolivia – Nacional Potosi being the party poopers for the treble 👎

  56. nathanufton 5 years ago

Of late, I’ve been doing Ok on the -1 h/c’s and whilst I think all three of my picks have a chance to land with spare, I’m going to play it safe:
    Derby
    Blackburn
    Aston Villa

    treble pays 2.8/1

All 3 with home advantage, Derby really need to puff out their chests and hope other teams drop points, Villa have rarely put a foot wrong – a bit like Fulham last year at this stage, can’t see them slipping up and Blackburn with home advantage were good enough to slap Derby down 2 nil, they’ll be more than enough to shoot a Bolton side that has nothing to play for. Bolton are not even being paid. There’s no better way to suck the life out of them than not bothering to pay your staff. Have a good one guys.

Apologies, prices are with bet365, I’m sure there’s better prices around but I’m tied up with too many other things to go comparing.
