MY over 2.5 goals treble and both to score treble were a goal short to complete a poor weekend.

Spurs were a big letdown on Sunday as they beat the Super Single double with Nice. They didn't play as well as expected as they were held 1-1 at Southampton.

The both to score treble went down early with Atalanta failing to score at home to Napoli and I needed an extra goal at Inter for the overs.

Well done to all the winners on Sunday including Jordan who backed Excelsior to beat their goal time of 60 and they netted in six minutes.

On Monday the big game is Swansea v Liverpool and I expect Jurgen Klopp's men to win but it might not be as easy as it looks on paper. They are no bigger than 1-3 so value is difficult to find.

It was 5-0 when the sides met at Anfield but Carlos Carvahal is in the hotseat now and games between the pair in Wales have been tight. In fact Liverpool have won just two of the last six and both were by one goal. To win by one they are 2-1 at Betway but of course this is the best shape Klopp's men have been in and they were dazzling in spells as they ended Man City's unbeaten record last week.

Elsewhere Juventus are also short at home to Genoa while basement boys Malaga travel to Eibar in La Liga. Going by stats and form Juve to win to nil is the bet but pays no bigger than 3-4 with McBookie.

Juve have won the last five at home to Genoa to nil and have conceded just one goal in their previous six.

There are three French Ligue 2 and Jupiler league games to look at and not much else so I might add something but for now I' taking a -1 Asian Handicap double of Juventus and Liverpool as a Super Single.

    Swansea v Liverpool
Over 3.5 goals at 13/8 (NAP)
Over 4.5 goals at 7/2 (NB)
Liverpool come into this game after ending Man city’s unbeaten run which was expected.Apart from the points gap of course there’s nothing between City and Liverpool.Liverpool will finish runners up in Epl this season. Now if city were playing Swansea then goals would be expected i expect no different from Liverpool, the reverse fixture finished 5-0 and we could see something similar.Swansea have a new manager and got a good result against Wolves in the cup but has he got the experience to see off a reds side that at the moment are unplayable,i can’t see it. goals for me the last four between the two sides have seen overs come in but Liverpool have recruited since then and new signing Van Djik will start for the visitors.
    Correct score 1-4

      I agree.
Swansea are rubbish with a rubbish manager.

No joy tonight 2 out of 3 on the race to 5 Juventus 1 corner shiort.

On the unders 1 to many at Eibar and Swansea. This was on the cards when both Liverpool and Eibar both went behind early. At least we stayed away from the Asian lines as that would have been a wipeout

Bet 365 wouldn’t let me place this bet, however this may be a blessing in disguise as I searched other bookmakers and Ladbrokes, ( including if you use the bet boost) have this as 3.13/1 so I’ll be placing it there instead. Turns out I can’t now deposit any money with bet 365 for a month and I withdrew my full betting bank last nite, anyone have any info on who does the next best goals markets, and will offer cash outs on said markets?

    Sorry for late reply

Hearts have had the most team bookings in 13/20 games this season as opposed to Hibs 3/20. Hearts have the worst disciplinary record in league where as Hibs have the second best after Celtic.

St Etienne have the worst discipliary record in France with 14/20 games seeing them take most bookings. Nice have the 5th worst record, however only 8/20 games have seen them take most booking points. I can see Nice winning this as Etienne have been rotten, i also think being the away side they could see a few bookings before the home team receives any. The referee averages 5.36 yellows a game giving 59 yellows and 4 reds in 11 games this season

I am on the double pays 2.44/1 (Skybet) *LOST*

Also on the following shots on target bets at Skybet

Kane 1 shot, Son 2 (6/4, shot on target multiple) *LOST*
Son 2 shots on target (5/4) *LOST*
Kane 3 shots on target (Evs) *LOST*

Disaster day, first time losing on the player shots on target market and it was a shock, put all my eggs in one basket with Spurs and they never turned up. Hearts had most booking points but despite losing away from home St Etienne only managed one card, poor day in general saved by a few bets last night on Barcelona and Lyon inplay. Research for today and hopefully post better tips, sorry to anyone following yesterday!

Belgium Reserves are back tonight, lots of the games look good for goals. Not had time to seek out the bets odds but like the following double.

Over 2.5 mgls double pays around 4/5 (***):
    Anderlecht Reserves KV Mechelen Reserves
Zulte-Waregem Reserves v Sint Truidense Reserves

Anderlecht double chance and over 2.5 mgls pays 8/11 with 365 betbuilder, looks good as well.

  18. maccathered 6 years ago

    Morning all
I see Sanchez is to be announced at Man utd today, with henrik going the other way to Arsenal, also Aubameyang looks certain to sign for Arsenal,What a coup for Arsenal.Unlucky Man Utd they have well and truly had their pants pulled down over this deal and it will cost them dearly. If Arsenal do sign Aubameyang then they will almost certainly finish in the top four especially with Mkitaryan on board as Arsenal’s style of play will suit better than that of Mourihno’s.If Aubameyang signs then a bet i will be taking with no hesitation is Arsenal to finish in the top four at 11/2.

    • newts68 6 years ago

Who they replacing out of the current top 4 @maccathered man united by any chance. Your finishing second so can’t be you. Chelsea are far better than Arsenal and will finish this comfortably above them so just leaves United.

    • maccathered 6 years ago

Who knows but all i know if they get Aubameyang, him and Mkitaryan will be deadly.

    • bullseye 6 years ago

If they do get Aubameyang & Mkitaryan playing alongside lacazette & Ozil their front four acronym would be LMAO :)

    • maccathered 6 years ago

      lol that would be funny

  19. andrewfoster3 6 years ago

Don’t understand why Man Utd have had there pants pulled down over the deal when Sanchez is easily the better player by far

    • -wato- 6 years ago

Course we haven’t when you have a chance to get a player of his quality with pretty much no transfer fee involved and moving a player on who hasn’t been playing for whatever reason it’s a no brainer. Even if Arsenal do sign him their problem has never been going forward it’s the other way that will cost them as it has already done so for quite some time.

    • maccathered 6 years ago

Man Utd have had their pants pulled down big time,Sanchez goes to united they have to pay him £400,000 per week, here’s how it works at a football club, they pay Sanchez £400,000 per week they have to pay the other top earners the same money, what happens if they don’t??UNREST in the dressing room,Arsenal sit pretty because not only have they got rid of a player who is nearly thirty they have also gained another top player for nothing and the player they have gained is likely to sway the signing of Aubameyang, win win for arsenal. Now ask yourself a question,Why didn’t Man City sign Sanchez????Why Didn’t Chelsea sign him,or Liverpool???,once you sign a player on vast wages you break your pay structure, all this has an effect, unhappy players, financial fairplay, when signing new players can United afford to without breaking any rules,my guess City steered well clear and rightly so imo.

    • -wato- 6 years ago

The way it’s going anyway wages like that will become the norm for top players at top clubs if other sides can spend £50-£75m on full backs and centre backs then this deal is definitely not a bad one. City were willing to spend a lot more last summer so the fact that they didn’t try to get him now is strange. Financial fair play clearly has had no effect when clubs can still spend millions they always find ways round it. You can’t tell me City are spending money they earn. If he signed for City in the summer the wages wouldn’t be that much different. Utd can’t win anyway on transfers for years been accused of not spending enough to get top players then when they do now it’s too much. It’s the way the game is going and not in a good way either imo. Even average players are going now for around 15-20m is becoming a joke.

    • maccathered 6 years ago

It doesn’t work like that,Man utd would have been better off paying a big transfer fee rather than get him on a swap deal.Take Liverpool signing Virgil van Djik, they signed him for 75 million but the Coutihno deal must have been concluded before they signed him, thats a fact,so in effect Liverpool gained 150 million and spent 75 million which keeps the books well balanced. Now what Man Utd have here is a player on astronomical wages £2 million + per month over a 5 year deal = 120 million anyway, they have broke their wage structure which means any player playing well can demand the same money or he leaves,Van djik although he cost 75 million he doesn’t earn anymore than 180k per week as Liverpool will not break their wage structure,Its bad business its as simple as that.

    • -wato- 6 years ago

Buy him last summer compared to now would have made no difference to the total price of the deal having to spend millions probably close to the Van Djik fee plus wages at even half of now would be the same amount. In fact more cause his wages wouldn’t haven’t been that low anyway no matter who he signed for. Yes obviously Liverpool only could sign Van Djik due to Coutinho leaving.

    • -wato- 6 years ago

Plus on that basis why would Arsenal not sell last summer for millions and buy Mkitaryan for half the amount? Still money left to sign other players. That to me is much worse business. Plus everyone knows Utd can’t really win on transfers as the price just gets bumped up. As the the wage structure it’s going to creep up for any club in future if things continue as they are I don’t see to many clubs that break theirs which obviously some have over the last few years and have had players throwing the toys out of the pram. Doesn’t really happen. Can’t exactly be too annoyed on 250k a week if someone get a bit more. Media and fans would be all over that if someone starting crying they weren’t getting enough on those wages

    • maccathered 6 years ago

I for one will be interested to see how this one pans out,he will certainly improve the team but as for players been happy that he’s the clubs top earner that one i doubt very much, who makes way for him???proof will be in the pudding as they say.

    • -wato- 6 years ago

I would understand that if it was someone coming in who isn’t of the same quality or better which he is. Then a few could say something. One thing is for sure if he helped them win more silverware over the next 2-3 seasons then all will be fine in the camp. It’s happened before at Utd and other clubs players coming in for more money than most at the club and can’t ever remember it causing major problems. Players realise to get the best you have to pay accordingly. Even more so now these says but have to say again I really don’t like the way the prices are going.

    • Mr Fixit 6 years ago

All that matters now is money. While TV continue to pay billions and there are oil-rich sheikhs out there wages will continue to rise.
Clubs don’t care about bad deals – they just want the player for whatever it costs.
Someone said earlier ordinary players are going for £15m but if you look ordinary players are going for £35m.
It’s just a number on a piece of paper.

Anyone else think Bet 365 are getting tighter and tighter?
Used to get £50 in play bonus, now reduced to the odd match for a tenner.
Used to get £5 loyalty bonus, as cash, replaced by £5 bet credits which now seem to have dried up.

I personally have started using Skybet and Betway, seem to offer loads more bonuses and promotions

    • Mr Fixit 6 years ago

      The bet365 £50 offer cost them a fortune – that’s why.

    • cockerspaniel 6 years ago

I think the fact bet365 did not enforce their own rules on that bet cost them.

    • Mr Fixit 6 years ago

Possibly although the majority of people wouldn’t have played it that way.
What cost them millions was if favourites won and there were loads of goals.

    • bluemooner1894 6 years ago

Mr F maybe u cld answer this question for me (or any1 else)
I don’t use skybet that much, (prefer 365) but a friend of mine does all the time.
Anyway, the bet £25 get a £5 free bet, gets me exactly what it says ..a £5 free bet, even if I stake £100 in a wk etc … I still only get £5, where if my friend does this, he gets a £5 free bet for every £25 he plays .. ie. £100 =£20 etc right up2 £50 in a free bet?
How can this be different from 1 punter to another???
      Thanks

      *update*
      Contacted skybet

I am a united fan and I love sanchez as a player and also like his work rate.
3 years ago would have been a great deal but at 29, that energy and work rate will slow down and make him half the player within 2 or 3 years.
I would take aubamyang right now over Sanchez and sell lukaku.

This is exactly why Liverpool won’t challenge for league anytime soon

    • alex_mufc83 6 years ago

Aye completely different team away from Home.

Take nothing away from Swansea though, fully deserved. Gritty defending

    • sean567 6 years ago

Just typical Liverpool. More than capable of beating the top sides, but also more than capable of not beating teams they are expected to, which happens for too often for them to be a genuine threat for winning a league.

    • sasaharv62 6 years ago

Liverpool never played to their best, but all credit to the Jacks, they defended well & got what they needed,a goal.

    • -wato- 6 years ago

      It’s cost them for years

    • sean567 6 years ago

Great result for those of us on the coral antepost tho ???

    • maccathered 6 years ago

But they were unbeaten in 19 games one defeat doesn’t mean they are not capable of winning a league title,Man utd didn’t win no games over the christmas period and nothing said, but maybe these comments come from people with no knowledge of football.

    • sean567 6 years ago

Look at Man Utd’s unbeaten run last year tho macca. Lots of draws against mince they should be beating. How many points have Liverpool dropped this season against the likes of Swansea, Burnley, West Brom, Newcastle etc? I know games are tough and you can’t expect to win every game against them but they drop more than they should

    • Mr Fixit 6 years ago

Man City are the only team who can win the league this season – that’s been said loads of times.

    • maccathered 6 years ago

  47. clydeman 6 years ago

It must be so frustrating being a Liverpool fan, I copied this from twitter, it sums it up perfectly:

from ending Manchester City’s 30 Premier League game unbeaten run, to losing to bottom of the table Swansea is the most Liverpool thing ever.

    • oz777 6 years ago

It’s something you would expect from Klopp’s Liverpool teams.
They’re awesome at letting lesser teams turn them over…

    • maccathered 6 years ago

They was hardly turned over thats a harsh statement.

    • oz777 6 years ago

Well, they DID get beat mate.
Wrote about them a few times last season, when they let me down on at least 3 occasions at Anfield, against teams who spend most of the season fighting against relegation.

    • maccathered 6 years ago

They got beat but it was hardly a game of football was it,the stats suggest that also, with them stats you will win most football matches, eleven men behind the ball makes it difficult and there was no space at all,if there’s one thing we have learned tonight,we know how Swansea are going to set up at home v the big sides, instead of slating a team we take this result and use it for future reference, thus become better bettors.

    • oz777 6 years ago

But that’s their downfall mate. No Plan B.
When teams get everyone behind the ball they struggle to get in behind them.
That was their downfall a good few times last season, and will be the same again this season.
They are the Robin Hood of the EPL.
They take points from the teams at the top, and give them to the teams at the bottom…

    • elvis parsley 6 years ago

This is why the premiership is a top league, drop your guard and you can lose to anyone.
Not many leagues where this happens, its like Benevento beating juventus, tondela beating porto, or partick beating Celtic tomorrow etc.
      Doesn’t happen

    • alex_mufc83 6 years ago

      Haha Elvis

    • Mr Fixit 6 years ago

Doesn’t make it a great league – Liverpool were rubbish tonight.
Would be a better reflection if they’d won 5-0 and put on a show.

Sums Liverpool up. Think they just have to turn up to rollover the lesser teams. Klopps motivation needs questioning.

    Over 1.5 tgs treble
    Liverpool ?
    Eibar ?
    Juve ?

One thing I have changed recently and I’m glad of it is only half stakes for solely tgs bets.id advise anyone else to do the same. Usually someone will underperform, other times teams are happy enough just to see out a 1-0

  56. Alves 6 years ago

Nae luck on the RABs, a Swansea card away for the 7/1 shot

  57. richb20806 6 years ago

Ouch. Tonight’s bets downed. Reckon Liverpool are the toast of the bookies tonight. Feels better as a wolves fan having been knocked out of the cup by Swansea last week haha.

Funny thing is I very nearly had a cheeky bet on a Swansea Win at 9/1 but then thought nah no chance.

On hulls bets in South America now to hopefully save the day.

    • alex_mufc83 6 years ago

To be fair, even if people thought Swansea would nick a goal, no way would you think they’d keep a clean sheet against Liverpool

Tbf they should’ve equalised with the Firmino header/Lallana 6-yard miss.

      Football is crazy.

  58. walenchi 6 years ago

one of those nights were the bookies cleaned everyone out All thanks to a poor Liverpool side. Wonder how Van Dijk became an attacking outlet for them.
