SUNDAY promised fireworks and it was certainly action-packed with the second 45 minutes at Sheffield United v Man United pretty memorable.
Man United fought back to lead 3-2 from 2-0 down before conceding an equaliser in injury time after VAR ruled out handball by scorer Oli McBurnie.
There were plenty of opinions about this game and it looked like maccathered had called it spot on before that unlikely and unexpected comeback. Still some bookies pay out at 2-0 so Sheffield United to win was profitable.
Greg had confidently backed Aberdeen to beat his own St Johnstone side but they threw it away against a keeper who played a blinder and then failed to break down nine men.
In Scotland I called Rangers correctly but they struggled over the line while many people including myself were beaten by a stunning result in the Bundesliga – Mainz winning 5-1 at Hoffenheim despite playing most of the game with 10 men.
If I'd taken over 2.5 goals at Hoffenheim instead of Hoffenheim and overs my Top Treble would have won. If I'd taken overs at Augsburg instead of btts my goals treble would have won. So close but …

Monday's big game is Aston Villa v Newcastle and while the concensus is for goals at Villa Park with the home men seeing btts in six out of seven I'm taking a risk on a Villa win at 5-4 with Unibet. In fact to add value take Villa and over 1.5 match goals at 9-5 with Paddy Power as the Super Single.
They've lost three in a row so their need for a result is obvious and if they can cut out mistakes at the back they should pick up the points. Midfielder Jack Grealish's return is key – I read with him in the team they average two points a game this season and without him it's one.
We all know Newcastle's problem is scoring and they've netted just 11 in 12 games. I saw them beat Bournemouth 2-1 a couple of weeks ago but the Cherries should have been out of sight in the first half hour.
Newcastle's goals came from two defenders and while Joelinton, Alan Saint-Maximim and Miguel Almiron are tidy players between them they have one goal from Joelinton.
Villa on the other hand have threats from Grealish, John McGinn and Diego Jota among others. Both to score is definitely an option at 4-6 with Betway.
Steve Bruce is making a return to the club who sacked him last season but Villa do owe him for signing McGinn and there's every chance the Scotland star could haunt him with a goal after three during the international break.
McGinn is 3-1 at Paddy Power to score and Grealish even bigger at 9-2. For Newcastle I'd look at Jonjo Shelvey at 7-1 with Paddy Power or Ciaran Clark at 16-1 with bet365.
In Serie A we have SPAL v Genoa and Lecce v Cagliari and there are plenty of lower-league games to look at but I couldn't find anything I really liked to add to both to score at Lecce which came in. Well done to everyone on that crazy game including mr h and Scott with his members bet.

Another night with no much sleep so spent a while looking at Lecce v Cagliari and it looks like cards and goals are the way forward in this. Discounting corners from the off by virtue of Lecce(3.75) & Cagliari(4.42) occupying the bottom 2 spots in the average total match corner table
Both sides are in the top half of the cards table with Lecce 7th collecting 35 yellows in 12 outings at an average of 2.92 per match & Cagliari 9th collecting 33 in 12 at an average of 2.75 per match. Lecce also have 2 reds while Cagliari have none.

I have enjoyed reading the masterclass material on the site recently and wondered if there were any plans to add to this? Appreciating there is not always masses of time for yourself and the other lead tipsters
I particularly liked the strategy item around backing draws in matches and saw that this is something you do each weekend according to the article
I was thinking of trying this myself as past history shows certain teams either home or away who are more likely to draw – perhaps linked to their style of play – and also as you say the odds are good when doing perms. There is also a possibility of good cash-out/cover options I would imagine if things were going well towards the end of the games
I was going to try instead of the draw doing 1-1 scorelines. Odds are higher and if placed with B365 you have the bonus of 0-0 being a void bet. You would just be sacrificing draws at 2-2 and above which is the risk
Reading the posts on the site, there are clearly some patterns to some of the tips posted so I assume the people posting have a strategy they stick to and have given some thought to – greg and his goals bets, total goals bets, macca and his bets which include a range of overs options on the goals and so on

I wouldn’t put you off the bet but I think Villa need to play to win. They’ll see this is an easier game than most although Steve Bruce will set up his side to be difficult to break down and he’d be happy with a point.
2-2 i reckon,Newcastle have scored 5 goals in their last two games and 3 of them were away to West Ham,they seem to have found their shooting boots,also worth adding a defender to score.
Bottom sides tend to be more worried about not loosing when playing each other than ‘must win’ at this time of the season. There is the occasion when a team doesn’t turn up as in the West Ham – Newcastle match but more often than not it’s a cagey game. Steering clear myself but good luck everyone.

I said last week the rams would struggle to overcome the bears and they did, only effectively winning the game with a few mins left and the bears are only 5-6. They also lost against the steelers quite easily and the steelers are terrible this year with Big Ben out, the rams offence is struggling massively lately after starting so well, i can’t see it getting better tonight with woods looking set to miss out again with a personal matter, they look a shadow of the team that made the Super Bowl last year and are struggling with a record of 6-4, they are priced at a massive 80/1 to win the Super Bowl this year which is madness considering how good they were last year and up there as hit favourites this year, Jared goff can turn up the heat on the ravens tonight if he plays like he did last year, he’s only been effective this year against the lesser teams. The Ravens are building a run like no other this year and look very well for a big run and are now second favourites for the Super Bowl, Lamar Jackson is just an exceptional QB and his running yardage per game is insane, that itself makes the ravens very hard to defend against because any man coverage defensive play just allows him to run with defensive backs turned, he’s basically another top tier running back for the ravens on certain plays but he knows how to throw the ball too, he’s going to be a standout in this league for a very long time and rightly so. The ravens biggest test was against New England’s defence which is arguably the best in the league, and they came out far superior scoring 37 points, they’ve won easily their past two games putting up 49 and 41 point totals and their offence just looks unstoppable, record breaking this year!
Baltimore will make it 9-2 tonight and kill off the slim hopes LA have, can’t see the ravens putting up 37+ points again but should win this game with ease with the rams struggling to find the end zone.

Again another discrepancy between the write up and the bet advised and fortunately I am not talking out of my wallet as I luckily noticed it and corrected it later with my bets. I really like this site, so not a major flounce, but please if you could just check the bets and make sure they are correct it would help. The last time it happened it did cost me and on a mobile it is not always easy to read a days write up and place bets and work out what the discrepancy is when you are working etc.
