IT was the night Leigh Griffiths outscored Lionel Messi in the Champions League and you'll not say that very often.
I tipped Celtic not to lose away to Anderlecht but it was easier than anyone imagined with Brendan Rodgers's side cruising to a 3-0 win without being at their best.
Meanwhile, Barcelona needed an own goal to beat Sporting Lisbon 1-0 with the great man off target.
That beat one Super Single and other was dead in the water when Wolves were reduced to 10 men early against Sheffield United.
My Top Treble was a Bayern and Barca goal short but the Betting Club is now over £300 from £10 and the app double also won.
Scott and Greg were out of luck but well done to Jordan with his Man United to score 2+ tip.
So we move on to the Champions League to the usually much tougher Europa League and I”ve been studying the card most of the morning. Main problem is working out who will field a strong side and if you're able to wait for line-ups before having a bet that's the advice.
I have two 1pt bets – a moneyback fivefold and goals treble – and I'm not putting up much reasoning as I'm concentrating on Saturday's card.
Start with Astana in the 4pm kick-off and they should use home advantage to beat Slavia Prague. I was impressed by their second-leg display against Celtic in the Champions League play-offs and they led 4-1 before being pegged back to 4-3.
The other four teams are fairly short and should all beat visiting teams as long as they don't go too weakened.
As I said team news is vital and for example Arsenal have travelled to BATE Borisov without Laurent Koscielny, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Granit Xhaka, Alexandre Lacazette, Sead Kolasinac, Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal while Danny Welbeck and a couple of others are injured.
The Gunners should still win but I wouldn't back them at odds on without most of their stars.

Mentioned the Norwegian U19 games yesterday – the below double was a winner, and there were 5 goals in each of the games so the o3.5 came in, but I don’t think the line was available in play on one of them.
