GOALS were the way to go on Tuesday with plenty of winners on a night with many shock results in England.
Greg, Desmond, HullShaker, shortee and maccathered posted winners – too many to mention really and well done to everyone involved.
My Super Single of Hearts -1AH won easily but one goal beat me on two trebles and the moneyback fivefold was nowhere with the likes of Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Portsmouth all failing to win.
There are another eight Champions League matches to look at tonight including Liverpool v Red Star Belgrade, PSV v Spurs and Barcelona v Inter Milan.

Red Star had 36% possession at home too Napoli and lost the shot count 10-5, was back too walls stuff. In Paris that percentage shrunk too 26% possession and lost the shot count 27-4. IT’s the night of the big guns as Barcelona, PSG and Liverpool are all at home and that can only mean one thing – a night of goals

When I looked at tonight’s matches, the first thing thing that jumped out to me was we have theee of the tournaments big hitters all playing at home.
PSG host Napoli – both sides have been in sensational form and it should be a cracker – What I like is Napoli have scored in 11 of their last 12 away UCL matches – I don’t think they’ll be a match for PSG But are more than capable of scoring. PSG I’d expect will net at least twice but the form they are in it could easily be 3 or 4
Barcelona are at home to Inter and this is very similar to the PSG match – the two teams flying. Inter are on for 8 consecutive wins but Barca have already shown this season they are at their best and we should see goals here
Last but not least – Liverpool welcome Red Star Belgrade, a side who will make it tough at home but won’t be able to compete on the road as shown by their 6-1 hammering away to PSG
Liverpool have been a shadow of last seasons side especially in front of goal but this is the perfect opportunity to find that scoring touch again
These three matches alone should yield around 12 goals and that will make a significant contribution to the skybet total goals special which I think is generous given the sides in action tonight.
I wouldn’t rule out seeing goals also in the Dortmund v Atletico Madrid matches

Some big games tonight but one match dwarfs them all – yes, the eyes of world football will be gazing down on Taunton’s Vrider Stadium as they play host to a Billericay side they held 2-2 in a cracking match on Saturday.
It’s not always the case that a bit of ‘off the trail’ research pays off, so I was made up when Taunton managed to easily cover the +2 h/cap at the weekend…they could have even made it through with an away win but for a missed penalty!
Whoever runs out victorious this evening now knows they will take on a Chesterfield side away from home for a place in the FA Cup 1st round proper and I can see a continuation of the epic game that was played out in Essex just 5 days ago.

Don’t know about you guys but knowing we have a trip to Middlesbrough next up and then the league cup away at Chelsea. I’m actually buoyed by the fact we could walk away from this match realistically with another 3 points in the bag and eyeing up a mouth-watering tie at the Riverside. Cracking tips but what happened to West Brom.

They were terrible. Gayle had a 1 on 1 due to a Keogh mistake but Carson saved it, that was with Derby 2 up, then they had a legitimate penalty appeal turned down, not seen the replay yet but I believe there was contact but was it in the box or out, the ref waved play on. Then Dawson on a yellow card strangled Marriot to the ground and should of at least got a 2nd yellow if not straight red. WBA spent most of the night with their heads down, body language was all wrong. It looked like each time we attacked we were going to score. Each time they needed a little composure ( WBA ) they made their own tough job of getting back into the game that much harder by panicking which led to more mistakes. Aside from that Gayle 1 on 1 and 3 or 4 corners, they rarely looked like a team that had won 5 on the trot at home. When that 3rd went in around 50-55mins, WBA fans started making for the exits. When your fans do that, you know you’re in a hole and you’re not getting out of it.
