A Happy New Year to everyone and remember don't bet until your head's clear – and don't gamble when you're drunk. That will probably rule out about half of Scotland then!
I placed all my bets last night just in case I haven't surfaced before the first kick-offs at 12.30pm. After a late one I'm relying on the dug to wake me.
I've been busy the last couple of days so due to lack of time I've concentrated on the Premier League card and picked out a few bets from the lower leagues.
I've posted a separate Premier League preview where the focus is on goals – let's hope VAR doesn't rule them all out – and check out the podcast starring Greg where he has identified two National League games that look great for goals.
Also remember to read all the match previews posted by kevinmac and Sliptips including the games at Arsenal, Man City and Brighton.
Despite some negative comments from Burnley fan KyleB about his side's chances, I'm picking them as my Super Single at home to a struggling Aston Villa and my other bets are goals trebles – one from the Premier League and another from the Football League.
If Burnley win I'll add a second Super Single from the late kick-off at Arsenal.
Picking WDWs is tough at this time of year with so many games and players being rotated so if you can check line-ups before having a bet.

A great card for New Year’s Day and spent the last few days taking a look at teams who consistently deliver results at good odds which provided the following for today:
NAP – Dover away to Bromley @ 13/5
Dover won the reserve fixture 3-0 a few days back now and have a great away record this season. Virtually all of their wins have been delivered at similar prices to today so worth sticking with I would say until prices drop.

Something I noticed the other day while following some bets in play was the high amount of corners in the National and National North/ South games.
The data for corners in the matches in North and South isn’t on soccerway but the bottom line is the following look tasty.
Ebsfleet v Dagenham (over 12 corners)
Bromley v Dover (over 11 corners)

From a statistical point I can understand why you backed it, we are missing our solid foundations at the minute where we are incredibly tough to break down and limit the opposition chances. Teams are getting opportunities against us at ease at moment, Grealish second goal in particular had me fuming cant believe how much time and space he was afforded on edge it was a gift. Gotta say not the worst team performance of the season I’ve watched today, in terms of finishing though that was on another level 😤
I’m a form and stats kind of punter and the Burnley haven’t conceded a goal to a bottom half team clinched it for me.
