Well done to everyone involved and I was feeling out of luck when both my trebles were beaten by one. I'd have advised cover on the goals treble when Marseille netted but was swamped by work on the Record so wasn't able to – I hope anyone on it took the initiative.
After a hectic weekend we have a bit of a breathe on Monday before the start of the European ties.
Arsenal v Leicester could be a tasty Premier League affair and other matches include Sampdoria v Sassuolo and Real Sociedad v Girona.
I've decided to go for a Super Single “double” so in reality it's my Nap. Back both to score at Arsenal with three of the last four meetings at the Emirates going that way. Arsenal are in good form with 19 goals in six games and should be winning this but the Foxes can net and have done so in five of their last six and last season went down 4-3 in a thriller.
And add over 1.5 match goals at Sociedad. Both have scored in four out of five for Girona and four out of six for the home men but as it's a double I'm taking the easier option.

I can’t remember the last time i saw Man Utd as underdogs at home in a champions league tie,they are 23/10 to beat Juventus which says it all about the shift in power in English football.No longer does Old Trafford hold the fear for visiting teams that it once did and Juventus certainly won’t fear coming here.That said Man Utd were impressive in parts against Chelsea at the weekend before giving up the lead in the dying seconds and it’s defending like that which costs points in big games and a team simply has to be 100% focused playing against this Juve team otherwise they will hurt you in a blink of an eye,i’m not sure the hosts can focus for 90 mins.For example take the Tottenham game when Juventus visited Tottenham looked like they were cruising winning 1-0 they took their eye off the ball to find themselves 2-1 down within minutes. Hi mrh…I have only managed to ‘post’ one 8/8 on here and that obviously shows a great profit. That said I have had several 8/8, but either not had the chance or the opportunity to post. If you get 6/8 (depending on odds), it usually shows profit and I have done that several times on here. 7/8 shows a good profit and I’ve done that a couple of times. Over a season, I usually come out ahead. There are several leagues/teams highlighted on here that are always ‘good for goals’…it’s just picking the right ones. It can be a frustrating bet, as often it’s scuppered by the odd lack of a goal in 1 or 2 matches. Betfair allow you to place a 5p ‘Goliath’ = around £12, so that might be a place to start, before outlaying bigger amounts, if you get the hang of it. All the best. Pete

ARSENAL VS. LEICESTER:
Some games just sit right for goals and this one certainly fits the bill looking at the way both sides have set up so far; The Gooners have been an attacking masterclass under Emery compared to Wenger’s set-up and Puel’s Leicester have hardly been shabby in the opposition’s half either!
It’s both sides defences that look suspect and Arsenal have a couple of key injury doubts which Vardy and co could well exploit but, again, that just plays into the court of any goal-mungers out there.
Since the 25th of August, Arsenal have played 9, won 9 and scored 24 team goals in the process…that’s some record and given Leicester have only failed to score once in their last 13 consecutive games (that against a very solid Wolves side) there’s certainly mileage to suggest both may want in on the goals tally!

Team news will be interesting, Crane – obviously league cup semi on Sunday followed by derby at Tynecastle on Wednesday. BURY VS. NEWPORT COUNTY:
Obviously I use the term ‘fortress’ loosely; yes, we have crept into the playoff places although clearly not on the merit of out defensive talents!
Newport will be a much sterner test than the poor Notts County side we humped 4-0 on Saturday – The Exiles sit a tied 3rd place on points and have some pretty damn impressive form under their belts although a red card last time out and various injuries may just see them light at the back.
That said, it would be naive to ignore their ability to score away from home – they have failed to score only once on the road in their last 7 league matches and that combined with our inability to defend (only 3 clean sheets in 16) certainly paves the way for what should be 90 minutes of pretty open football.
One to watch is our on-loan striker and former big-hitter Nicky Maynard who has already netted 4 goals in 5 games with 3 of them being the matches first goals – with stories of a decimated Newport squad rife, it may just pay to back goals (and hopefully Bury goals) here.
