I'M not a Celtic fan but it was good to see Leigh Griffiths back and in the goals as his side thrashed Nomme Kalju.
Griffiths, who has been battling demons, curled in a trademark free-kick as Neil Lennon's men sealed progression to the third qualifying round.
That's great news for the player and also Scotland boss Stevie Clarke who'd love to have a fully-fit Griffiths available.

Odds of 7/10 on Aberdeen away in Georgia is bonkers in my opinion. I see they’ve switched the venue which explains the shortening odds, but the original odds of 4/5 were also much too short) but its been moved to the Georgian national stadium – a graveyard for Scottish teams. Scottish sides struggle massively in away ties in Europe, regardless of the opposition. This Shakira (or whatever) mob may not be that good but they were good enough to hold Maribor, a side far better than Aberdeen.

Totally agree, I was thinking the exact same when looking at the odds on them to qualify at 1/14 🤔 Aberdeen to qualify at those odds is bonkers. They’ve strengthened their team over the summer and a few of those might play after missing the last couple of games – whether they hit the ground running is another thing.
