THE Super Single's back in profit after I followed St Mirren's success with Antoine Griezmann to score for Atletico Madrid.

Griezmann gave me a 3.7pts profit but there was no joy on the two trebles.

Atletico's late collapse at Villarreal beat the Top Treble and it was two out of three on the both to score treble with Crotone letting me down.

Seemed to be a pretty tough day all round so well done to any winners.

Not much to look at on Monday night as we build up to a meaningless round of international friendlies. Jordan and Greg have dug out tips though so I've decided to put up a double.

Tonight's TV game is Doncaster v Bradford and it's a meeting of two sides off form.

Bradford are actually bottom of the League One form table having taken just two points from their last eight games. Doncaster have been a bit better but Darren Ferguson's side are incredibly inconsistent. Could be a draw but taking Rovers not to lose and doubling them with Greuther Furth not to lose in Bundesliga 2.

Greuther are the form team in their division having taken 13 points in 15 and have climbed from bottom to fourth bottom. They travel to an Aue side who they are one place and three points above. Aue are unbeaten in five but four of them have been draws so keep the stalemate on side.

Remember to visit our friends at WeLoveBetting for latest tips and video chat.

2pts Daily Double

  • Doncaster not to lose (7.45pm)
  • Greuther Furth not to lose (7.30pm)
  • (Evens, bet365)

On a card like today I’d usually not bet, but my research has flagged up a team who have been leaky of late and are essentially playing for nothing.

With only three games left in the Israel Leumit Liga, Bnei Lod host Herzliya with the home team still in with a chance of finishing in the promotion group. Herzliya have already sealed a relegation playoff and conceded 2+ in five of their last six contests. Bnei Lod aren’t big scorers, but not many teams are in this league. They’ve only scored 10 goals at home this season, but five of those have come in three of their last four. The reverse tie saw a 4-2 win for Bnei Lod, so you’d hope they at least half that effort still with something to play for.

The only pre-match odds available are with Marathon Bet, with Over 1.5 Team Goals a tase looking 113/100. Now its a given I know zilch about the Israel First Division let alone this one, but stats speak and this looks worth a gamble. Expect odds to come in-play around 4:50PM, with 365 showing a few markets at the moment.

    Bnei Lod Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 113/100 @ Marathon Bet – 2.5 points

    • elvis parsley 3 years ago

According to oddschecker bnei lod are 5-4 to score 2+.
If your investigations are correct bnei lod win at 19-20 might be worth adding to my bet today as if they net 2 they should win.
If its 2-2 then I will end my worthless existence and seek redemption in a better place, like hull or somewhere equally exotic.

      Good luck jordan

    • Jordan 3 years ago

I see they are @ Skybet. Good shout Elvis ??

    • red_ryan 3 years ago

@jordan does that mean over 1.5 goals or is it over 2.5 on skybet? i assume its 1.5 when sky call it 2+ but dont know for sure?

    • Mr Fixit 3 years ago

Just think of it logically – you can’t get 1.5 goals so over 1.5 takes you to 2. Over 2.5 is 3+.
It would be better if bookies all worded it 2+, 3+, etc but saying over 1.5 possibly fools punters into believing it’s an easier bet to land.

    • red_ryan 3 years ago

Thanks mr f and Elvis, hopefully it will come off ?

    • elvis parsley 3 years ago

2+ is the same as over 1.5
Just a different way of wording it.

Maybe athlone to concede a couple as usual though they play cabinteely who are challenging them for bottom spot.

A risky one more out of interest for this afternoon.
    Athlone town v Cabinteely
    Over 4.5 goals at 4/1
None of these teams are in great form, the hosts though have conceded 3.6.4.4.6.4.1.7.7 goals in their last nine games and even though the away side are far from prolific the last head to head finished 6-2 to Cabinteely,so i’m going to risk a high scoring game here.
Best of luck on a dire card.

Favourite team from the Czech u21 league, Dukla Praha, are kicking off at 12 today.

Since they returned from the winter break their games have seen 12, 5, 5 and 6 goals. Their opponents, Slovan Liberec, haven’t conceded since the return but have scored 13 goals in those 4 games. The past 4 games between both sides have seen 6, 6, 5 and 6 goals.

Over 4.5 goals 2.1 on Betfair
Over 1.5 FHGs 1.61 on Betfair

    Morning gents,

Mid-month figures looking good Mr F!

Not the world’s best card and although there are some OK looking lower league domestic matches, I’d imagine they may not go ahead due to weather so choosing to swerve.

Looking further afield, there’s one SA game featuring a side that have started well and were great to back for goals last campaign – all roads lead to Chile for me…

    MAGALLANES VS. COBRESAL (2030 KO):

Cobresal’s games were a revelation for goals towards the end of their doomed Primera campaign but life in the PDB has started well; 12 points from a possible 15 sees them sitting pretty having scored 2-2-2-2-0-3-3 team goals in successive matches.

Over the last 12 month period, 25 of their 36 games have seen 3 or more match goals – against a Magallanes outfit who have seen ‘overs’ get the green light in 11 out of 17, there could be some value on offer:

    OVER 2.5 MGS…39/40
    ⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Best of luck

  10. HullShaker 3 years ago

CHARLTON ATHLETIC U23 VS. BURNLEY U23 (1400 KO):

Had earmarked this one due to a combination of Charlton and Burnley ‘Youth’s’ contrasting fortunes but thought the snow would have taken it’s toll.

Evidently not though and the match is set to go ahead having been relocated from the DGS Marine Stadium to the training ground.

Could be well worth a look – Charlton head into this on the back of a cracking run culminating in a 6-1 spanking of Coventry U23s last time out whilst Burnley are shocking having by far the worst g/d in the division of -26…16 worse off than their nearest rivals and 36 away from today’s hosts!

    OVER 3.5 MGS…21/20 ⭐⭐⭐

    OVER 4.5 MGS…23/10 ⭐

    OVER 5.5 MGS…5/1 ⭐

    Good luck.

Just spending some time thinking about England’s chances at the World Cup…well that took approximately 5 seconds ?

It really is a shocking squad – the fact they can’t decide on a keeper or whether to take 4 reminds me of 5 a side back at school when you were left with the fat kid or the one with calipers on his legs to pick from.

Even with a half decent squad, Englands lack of anything approaching success has looked remote for at least a decade or so.

If Panama and Tunisia weren’t the other two sides (Belgium I think will go far) then I’d be tempted to take England to go out at the Group stages but even charisma-bypass victim Southgate should drag the national sides stinking carcass into the last 16.

Not any further for me though and I’m taking an antepost pick on the following:

    ENGLAND EXIT LAST 16…11/5

It is kind of depressing Hull but the flip side is that with the most two bob manager we’ve ever had and such low expectations we will be playing with Little pressure unlike previous tournaments when we’ve had a decent manager and are getting hyped up by the press.

I think we’ve got some really promising players in attack. It’s the defence that needs another 4 years before some talent starts to blossom.

The country I feel sorry for is Belgium: all that talent and yet you kind of know they’re gonna continue to be the new England of international football, disappointing their nation tournament after tournament.

    • HullShaker 3 years ago

Two selections I like the look of from tonight’s games.

•Galway United v Cockhill Celtic (Irish League Cup) – over 2.5 match goals.
•FSV Frankfurt v Kickers Offenbach (German Regionalliga) – both teams to score

Galway’s two home games this season, both in the league, have seen scorelines of 4-1 and 3-1. They are playing against opposition from the 3rd tier of Irish football so will be expecting to score a couple. Cockhill are top of their own league after playing 9 games and have scored 37 goals in the process. This game kicks off at 17:00.

4 of the last 5 home games for FSV Frankfurt have seen BTTS land. The only game which never was when they failed to score against the league leaders who look a cut above the rest with a 13 point lead. The same goes for Offenbachs last 5 away games with the only team who failed to score against them was the team at the bottom of the table. The last fixture between the two sides was in September where Offenbach ran out 4-1 winners.

The double is available at 2.56 on SkyBet.

    ——–
German game in after 15 minutes but Galway and Cockhill could only manage the 1 goal between them. Always a risk with cup games I suppose.

Having an in-play bet on the Airdrie u20s v Morton u20s game to have over 1.5 match goals. Currently 0-0 at half time. Usually see goals in the Scottish Development Leagues. Every one of Airdrie’s games has seen over 1.5 come in. Morton have seen 14 of 16 games land. The same game in October seen 6 goals.

Available at 4/5 on SkyBet and Bet365.

    • ausie11 3 years ago

I fancy St pats v Sligo btts at 9-10
Aue v greuther furth also btts at 5-6
Maybe athlone to concede a couple as usual though they play cabinteely who are challenging them for bottom spot.

      Aye btts won
      Athlone conceded 2+ as normal
St Patrick’s don’t do snow and didn’t bother even kicking off, void just a double

Well done jewish Jordan for his bnei lot top.

    @alex_mufc83 @kyle-b @maccathered @jordan

was looking for opinions on wolves winning championship and whether chelsea can actually win FA cup…

or any way to cover ante post bets hahahah

    • alex_mufc83 3 years ago

Chelsea will never win the FA cup, no chance, when united destroy Spurs they will then batter Chelsea in the final

    • aarron19888 3 years ago

hahahhaha @alex_mufc83 – no offence intended was just genuinely asking opinion, I have them at 6/1 E/W is all, imo will take an insane performance from man utd to take spurs.

    • alex_mufc83 3 years ago

Don’t worry pal I wasn’t exactly being serious lol

Chelsea have a great chance to win it yeah. Put it this way, everything I saw of United at OT on Saturday doesn’t instil me with confidence.. about 5 times I commented it was like watching a game of Subbuteo when United had the ball.

    • aarron19888 3 years ago

@alex_mufc83 – yeah they have players who are there for the big bux but not willing to put a lot of effort in I Have found myself saying it a lot in the last year or two, jose makes games so boring in my opinion. don’t get me wrong though chelsea do not make things easy and I am not even a chelsea fan either hahaha just fancied them after coming so close last year was all

    • maccathered 3 years ago

Chelsea have the edge to win it,they have Southampton which almost certainly puts them into the Final,Spurs should see off Man Utd,Spurs knowing Chelsea will be in the final gives them even more reason to get there as it would be a derby, add to the fact Spurs are playing at home, for me you have no reason to cover Chelsea, the only way to cover Wolves is Back Cardiff but if it were my bet i would let it run.

    • aarron19888 3 years ago

yeah @maccathered agreed, spurs are a force even without kane, eriksson has a wand of a foot, and they are vert good to watch just now, hopefully moratta scoring that goal the other day gives him the confidence to push on..

yeah wolves form has been awful recently, they need to keep the wins going, but the championship is a proper minefield haha, fulham at home on saturday were proper complacent and got dominated second half and the hunger was gone completely.

yeah will have to let it run as it is with William Hill and they do not offer cash out hahaha, for over 3 grand as well..

    • maccathered 3 years ago

      Fingers crossed for you lad.

    • aarron19888 3 years ago

thanks a lot @maccathered – we should all come up with ante posts before the start of next season, could be some good profit to be found..

    • alex_mufc83 3 years ago

Also, Spurs are going to be playing at home (Wembley)

Bit of an unfair advantage but regardless, another factor to consider

    • richb20806 3 years ago

Wolves hit a bad patch (if you can call it that) and are now looking good again. Not missed a home game in many years and am very confident.

100% confident on promotion and 90% confident on winning the league.

Cardiff are the only team who can really trouble us. They’re in great form but surely must hit a bad patch soon…

I’d argue that in I think 8 games left to play the only tricky ones are Cardiff and Boro Away

    • aarron19888 3 years ago

@richb20806 – so sorry completely forgot your username man! you are the man I was looking to ask hahaha,

i.e the wolves fan – yeah thanks for the confidence hahaa, I was reading jota was injured and freaked out a bit like haha, aye I can’t see cardiff rinsing tbh, just wish wolves would keep on humping, like the villa game was a heavy shock, but then villa showed how unpredictable they were last week and fulham as well so hot and cold, yeah wolves have built a proper unit far too good for championship… I really hope they come good! cheers man!

    • richb20806 3 years ago

Yeah it’s scary. As a wolves fan I’ve got used to watching some awful football. So the stuff at the moment is incredible.

Jota being injured is a big shock. However it might not be too bad and now we have international break he could very well be back early April.

Fortunately it’s a position where we have some real cover.

Effectively to fill 2 spaces we have Jota, Costa, Cav who are pretty much all of the same quality. Even Morgan Gibbs-white can fill in too.

Our bonus now is Benik Afobe has returned to the place he loves and has hit form.
