GREG was the star of the show on Saturday with four out of four on his Scottish tips.
All were advised as singles but if you'd done the fourfold it would have returned 17-1.
Not for the first Saturday I was feeling unlucky and feeling pissed off at Aberdeen. They beat me for a 20pts win on the moneyback fivefold and the Top Treble.
Forfar were also being cursed by me for a Super Single loser and they denied my a 24-1 four aways on the VIP tips – with Norwich, Luton and Partick Thistle doing the business.
Desmond's main 2+ double won and Scott's matches are all late and well done to all the winners.
In fact my best tip was texting Greg to tell him St Johnstone could get a 0-0 at Rangers with Steven Gerrard's strike problems – but that doesn't count.
Hoping for better luck on Sunday and there's plenty to look at including three FA Cup ties – Bristol City v Wolves, Doncaster v Crystal Palace and Swansea v Brentford. Definitely chances for City and Rovers but team news will be key as their Premier League opponents are bound to rotate.
Elsewhere Blackburn face Middlesbrough in the Championship and in the Scottish Premiership Celtic aim to increase their gap at the top to eight points as they head to Kilmarnock but they never get it easy there and could be leggy after chasing Valencia on Thursday. The other game between Motherwell and Hearts isn't easy to call.
On the Continent there are big games to look at including St Etienne v PSG, Eintracht Frankfurt v Borussia M'gladbach and Real Madrid v Girona.
Good luck to everyone with all of their bets on Sunday – I'm starting with an over 2.5 goals treble.
First up it's De Graafschap v Utrecht. Both sides have seen over 2.5 goals come up in five of their last matches and it was 5-0 Utrecht when they met earlier in the season. De Graafschap have conceded 19 at home and Utrecht 20 away and in their last the sides have let in 17 and 15 respectively.
I'm staying in Holland with Groningen v Feyenoord. Both sides have saw both score in five out of six matches and as I expect Feyenoord to win this should go over 2.5 goals.
Groningen have a terrible home record against Feyenoord but have scored in their last five in front of their own fans while their visitors have netted 13 on their last six visits here.
In fairness all four Dutch games look good for overs so I could have added Ajax v NAC or Excelsior v Emmen or both but I'm heading to Germany and picking Bayer Leverkusen v Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Again five of Bayer's last six have gone over 2.5 and the last meeting here finished 3-2 in their favour. Fortuna have saw four out of five go over and they've netted in their last eight away games including trips to Schalke, Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
I've been trying to find a Super Single and Top Treble but leaving it alone. Bristol City or Doncaster could have been shouts but those games totally rely on team news and Killie +1 was a possibility too.
For the treble I looked at teams such as Bayer, Napoli and Lille but have decided just to go with the goals bet – and Real Madrid's shock defeat at home to Girona should be a warning to us all.

Excelsior and Emmen are both trying to avoid that last relegation play-off spot. Excelsior have the worst defence in the league conceding 53 goals in 21 games. Their last 12 games in the Eredivisie went over the 2.5 goal line. Emmen also concede a lot with 47 conceded in 21 games. In the new year their results are 2-2, 2-3, 5-0 and 3-2. 7 of their last 10 games saw over 2.5 goals and the remaining 3 saw at least 2 goals. Napoli excellent home scoring record, and have a good record (4W, 1D) against visitors Torino who whilst being decent at home, are pretty tame on the road.
PSG were very impressive against my team on Tuesday despite having no Cavani or Neymar. They beat St Etienne 4-0 in the last game and whilst it could be a tighter affair (I think St Etienne may score), should see this out for a win given they will want to wrap up the Ligue 1 title ASAP to focus on Europe.

I’m not sure that the fuss is about the red. He was on a yellow and went into the crowd to celebrate – it’s a stick-on second yellow.
He stopped just at the line and unfortunately the fans ran on and they got caught up in it. Just don’t like the rule at all anyway and feel it’s still very much open to interpretation and not consistent.
I don’t like the rule either but it’s there and Brown knew he’d be going off.
