SOME great games on Saturday and some tremendous winners as well.
Liverpool v Newcastle and Norwich v Man City didn't let us down and if I'd stuck to goals bets I'd have been fine.
Both matches went over 3.5 goals but of course Norwich produced the shock of the season by beating the champions at home. It was a great effort and as a result Liverpool have a tidy five-point lead at the top.
I went against some of the favourites and that cost me with Man United holding off Leicester and Wolves being hammered by a scintillating Chelsea.
So it wasn't a good day for me but I was probably due a bad Saturday. However, the likes of Greg, Desmond and HullShaker did well and there were plenty of winners on the comments section.
Plenty to look at on Sunday including Watford v Arsenal, Bournemouth v Everton and Barnsley v Leeds as well as some big games on the Continent. Arsenal are a decent price at just over evens and should win but of course there is the new-manager syndrome Quique Sanchez Flores back at Vicarage Road.
My first bet is a goals treble and as it's still early in the season I've gone mainly on h2h results. For example the last five Genoa-Atalanta games have gone over 2.5 goals and the previous five Hoffenheim v Freiburg have gone over 2.5 goals and saw both score including two 3-3 draws.
The Top Treble starts with Lazio at SPAL. Lazio won eight away last season and have lost just once to SPAL in their eight meetings. They've started the season well with a win and draw against Roma while SPAL are pointless.
Roma have two score draws while Sassuolo's two matches have totalled eight goals. They've scored in all of their trip to the Olympic Stadium and the last six meetings in the capital have brought up btts with four going over 3.5 goals. Try over 2.5 today.
Complete the treble with Marseille not to lose at south of France rivals Monaco. Marseille have lost one out of four while Monaco, who had high hopes for the season, have again started poorly and sit second bottom with two points. Marseille look too big at 2-1 so I'm backing them not to lose on the treble.

Atalanta were probably my most reliable team for corners last season both home and away and they’ve started this season in the same fashion. Away at Spal they acquired 10 team corners (16 multi corners) and at home to Torino in the last match it was 12 team corners (27 multi corners). The line set for Genoa is quite generous at 6.5 considering Fiorentina managed 7 multi corners (1st half corners multipied by 2nd half corners) against them.
I’ll also be doing a NB tomorrow, Brondby vs Nordsjaelland will likely feature as that promises a good few corners.

Just caught the end of the frame in the final at the Shanghai Masters as I’ve just woke up.
