THAT'S another midweek of European action out of the way and we turn our attention back to the domestic scene.
Friday nights are many people's favourite with the goal-laden Dutch,, French and Austrian second tiers seeing plenty of action.
As I've said before I'd love to have more time to spend on Friday's tips but I have to concentrate on finishing all my Saturday columns – and it's worse when I'm working at the Record as I will be all this weekend.
I can give my thoughts on Leicester v Newcastle and Dundee United v Ayr. Leicester have won five out of six and look set for a seventh-placed finish under Brendan Rodgers.
The ex-Celtic gaffer's revitalised Jamie Vardy who has netted seven in his last six games but defensively has enjoyed just one clean sheet against Bournemouth. Vardy is 15-4 to score first and 6-5 to net at anytime and the latter is my Super Single.
I fancy Leicester here but 37-50 with Marathonbet is a tad short. Leicester and btts has a chance at 14-5 with Marathonbet against a Newcastle side on a decent run until missing a hatful of chances in losing 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace last week.

Dundee United v Ayr is tougher to call simply because both teams will now be focused on the end-of-season play-offs with Ross County set to claim the automatic promotion place. Elsewhere we have second-bottom Nuremberg entertaining a Schalke side dropping like a stone in the Bundesliga.
In Ligue 1 there is a relegation six-pointer as Dijon face Amiens while Lyon go hunting three big points at Nantes as they aim to stay in line for a Champions League place.
I'm taking Leicester and Lyon on a treble with over 2.5 match goals at Standard Liege v Anderlecht.
Last night two parts of my Top Treble won but third leg is Eintracht Frankfurt to qualify but they are up against it after their 10 men crashed 4-2 away to Benfica. Eintracht can't be ruled out with a 2-0 or 3-1 putting them through but it's a tough task.

Today sees Brisbane roar take on wellington Phoenix. The roar have nothing to play for while the Phoenix need 1 more point to guard their play off spot and also will be looking for the 3 points to try and get the easier fixture in said play offs. This match screams 1 thing to me- goals goals goals. The roar have seen 9 out the last 10 btts, and also 9 go over 2.5. There was 45 goals in those fixtures. I had the same thing at Cheltenham was waiting on £100 from them never went in then was told 10 working days… I got onto my bank and it turned out the money had went into my bank within a couple of days but I missed it as had so much going in and out my account at the time and it didnt show as skybet instead it showed as “cash advance”
My advice to you is look at your bank statement to see if anything showing as “cash advance” within 5 working days of your withdrawal and if there is then it is money from skybet

Orleans v Clermont
The hosts are in 7th place, 4 points ahead of the visitors in 8th spot, knowing a win would keep them right in the hunt for one of the promotion play off spots (the teams finishing 3rd, 4th and 5th contest these) while virtually killing off Clermonts hopes in the process.
Orleans have scored at least twice in their last 7 games – 2, 2, 3, 2, 4, 2, 4 – and while Clermont haven’t exactly been leaking a ton of goals lately (although they did concede 3 last time out to Nancy) I’m banking on the fact they really have to go for it here and hopefully leave themselves vulnerable at the back in the process.

Lomachenko vs Crolla – Lomachenko by KO, TKO or Disqualification 1/6 **LARGE STAKE**
For me this bet is the equivalent of buying money. Vasiliy Lomachenko is quite possibly the most skillfull and cerebral boxer that has ever laced on the gloves and he’ll easily outclass Anthony Crolla. Crolla, a typical Joe Gallagher fighter, just walks forward behind a high guard in straight lines. His movement will become very easy for Lomachenko to predict and Loma will no doubt start overwhelming him with lateral movement and quck combinations to head and body. The only thing Crolla has going for him in this fight is that he is natural at the weight but Loma has already fought and beaten natural lightweights. I see a mid to late stoppage with Joe Gallagher pulling his man out after prolonged punishment.
Lomanchenko win rounds 6-8 for me.
This guy is seen by many as no 1 pound for pound and see him wearing down crolla, who I admire greatly coming back from that assault a while back and getting his career back on track and is a nice guy too.
Crolla had some tough fights recently, v Ricky burns and twice to linares, who in turn has lost to lomanchenko.
Hope crolla is paid well for this and he doesn’t get too hurt, lomanchenko I’ve seen at 1-100 to win, and unlike heavyweights who all have a punchers chance, I don’t think he can hurt lomanchenko.
Lomanchenko to win rounds 5-8 is 13-8 at ladbrokes.
BULLSEYE didn’t quote odds but lomanchenko to win by any means in rounds 1-6 is 5-4 at Ladbrokes.
Crolla quite frankly did well to survive that attack, to be boxing again is nothing short of a miracle after getting his skull cracked. He gave Linares hell in that first fight actually. Really went to town on his body and doing the same tonight to Loma wouldn’t be a bad idea because he needs to somehow disturb his movement. As you say Crolla definitely has earned his right for the fight and hopefully regardless of result it’ll be one to tell the grandchildren about. I’d put Loma in the same bracket as Golovkin and Mayweather Jr in that they’re generational fighters where Crolla is world class at best.
Agreed here boys – Crolla is a very tidy boxer and a good old Northwest lad who grew up close to me so always love to here his interviews and have the obvious bias towards him but he’s no match for Lomachenko.
This guy is absolutely top-drawer and has the best footwork I’ve seen in years coupled with a style of boxing that Crolla will not be able to match beyond the first round or two.
I’ts not one I’ll bet on but cannot see it going beyond the 6th round.
